Religion is a farce, Just a way of controlling the masses, If it wasn't how do we determine which religion is the correct one?
Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Which one? How can anyone prove which one is right when there is no concrete evidence, Therefore surely it makes sense that no religion is the correct way of life?
Who says there isn't evidence?

This is hilarious. All you Atheists are making truth claims about the world.
If the brain/mind is the result of an UNGUIDED, blind process that evolved for survival and NOT TRUTHS, then how can you use it to make truth claims?
Natural selection selects for survival traits, NOT truths. Therefore the Atheist is using the tool (brain) to make truth claims (God and the universe) but the very tool they are using (brain) didn't evolve to make truth claims.
In essence, it is like using a speedometer to measure water pressure.
Anyone???? Anyone????
Or do you want to avoid arguments and focus on mockery, because that's the only thing you guys have?

The universe (space, time and energy) all created itself from nothing? By nothing, I mean, the absence of anything, no properties, no potentiality, and this nothing created space, time and energy.
Then, from the big bang, the rate of expansion was so precise, that if it was fractionally faster or slower, the universe would have collapsed. But no, it just happened to the perfect rate so the universe could expand?
Then, from this expansion, all stars, planets, galaxies etc etc formed, then cosmological constants and quantities were so precise in there RANGES, that if they were slightly out, it would allow for biological life on earth. They just happened to be perfect?
Then some lightning hit a pond somewhere and life started? Then life evolved to ape like ansectors, who decided to branch away from the pack and go for a walk and one day became human beings?
I am sorry, I don't have enough faith to believe that.
Why not? It is WAAAAAY more believable than the mythology, I mean religion that YOU are brainwashed to believe.

God is timeless, if he timeless, he is eternal in the past, if he is eternal in the past, then he has no cause, if he has no cause then he has no beginning therefore and therefore exists necessarily.
Simple logic.....

LOL, prove what? The only thing I have shown you is that there is NO logical contradiction.
The reality is, all the evidence we have is that the universe BEGAN to exist. That is, all space time and energy began to exist. Therefore, the cause must be spaceless, timeless and immaterial as everything that BEGINS to exist has a cause.
God is eternal in the past, if he is eternal in the past, then he NEVER began to exist, therefore doesn't need a cause.
That is why it was commonly held by Atheists in the 60s and 70s that the universe was eternal, so they wouldn't have to face the problem of a beginning.
Unfortunately for them, the advancement of scientific discovery has seen all the evidence we have that the universe began to exist,.

"It is said that an argument is what convinces reasonable men and a proof is what it takes to convince even an unreasonable man. With the proof now in place, cosmologists can no longer hide behind the possibility of a past-eternal universe. There is no escape: they have to face the problem of a cosmic beginning."

Fact is,....you cannot scientifically prove other minds other than your own exists. If you are consistent, you would be also claim other minds don't exist...but you don't. You have double standards....HYPOCRISY.

It's a scenario which most zealots refuse to even consider. Made even more ridiculous by the fact it is in a sub-forum on a gambling site. You would think all possible outcomes would at least be considered. Not so. Myopic.
