Supercuts.

Always get the manager to cut for ya. They are seriously trained and know exactly how to handle the instructions you give them.

The Salons that charge the 40-50 bucks are total scams. They target mostly women that drop the big coin on cuts, highlights, coloring and general psychiatric help.

Cut cost $15 and I usually give them between $20-22, depending on if I have any singles on me.

It's a real cool shop where I get my hair done, all the guys are good people and it is a nice atmosphere. Only been there twice, but have not had a bad cut.

The key is, when you find your place and the person who knows how to cut your hair, treat them right.

As far as G&G's tip, nothing wrong with that, I would have done the same thing just about all the time.

Next time tell her that is twice as much as you tipped the hooker you saw right before you came in, that should make her feel better.

$20 should be your MAX total...$12-16 for your haircut and a $4 tip sounds good to me.

That's a good tip. I am a little compulsive when I get my haircut, so I will leave anywhere from $4-$8, depending on how good of a job she does, and how nice her boobs are

been going to the same barber for almost 10 years. He used to work in someone else's shop, and i know they pay thru the teeth to have a chair, so i felt better then tipping more. He's had his own shop for a couple of years now, and it's 15$ for an appt., and i always give him 20$. I just got a cut, and noticed that he's raising his prices to 20$. Not sure if i'm still going to tip the 5$, might just stick with giving him the 20$.

I was curious as to how many people use the same barber all the time, or if they just go wherever for their haircuts all the time

Getting a haircut is a personal matter. You are improving your look. And the quality of life, as Grind mentioned. The hairdresser is making it happen. Take care of the people who cut your hair. Especially if you are getting these neck massages and stuff like that. 20-25% is good.

I go to a national salon, regis. Costs $30 for a haircut or so but I get a decent job. I know supercuts is half that but in my experience I have been sorry with those bitches. $15 extra plus tips and I know I am getting a good job, better in imo. Supercuts chicks you are like their first haircut

$10, $15, $20 dollar tips for a haircut?

I give them $2 or $3 bucks if their lucky. If they don't like it, I'll go somewhere else. There's only about 500 haircutting places in the City of Milwaukee.

I just paid $35, but it was on a cruise ship and it was a 20 year old Swedish chick with brown hair.

I gave her a $10 tip, but that was after she told me that it was nice that I was so talkative because a lot of Americans she cuts don't talk much. She also threw in a few of those Swedish giggles. I'm getting a boner just writing this......
