I wonder who, if either, will turn into the hell of this Daniel Bryan v Ziggler feud.

I'm sorry but all Wrsetlemania 31 showed is the sport i once loved is dead. I'm not suprised Preparation H beat Sting because Vince is a mark and is the only one who still cares about WCW anymore. To me Sting should've won and if he's not fighting Taker what's the point

I have no use for Lesnar on any level. He quit on Wrestling back in 2004. he's as useful as boobs on a bull.

When you have Sting and Taker and Triple H and Lesnar it just shows WWE can't develop stars. The audience now knows nothing about wrestling. Hell biggest PPV of the year and their crappy network has 1.3 million customers. Yet the stock price went down

Wrestling was my 1st love but its dead and its never coming back

I think this is a smart move to have both Daniel Bryan and Cena holding titles.  These are A list wrestlers imo and it bring legitimacy back to both those titles.

Talk about throwing a wet blanket on things!

Cockroaches will roam the earth's scorched terrain and I can promise you, wrestling will still be going strong.

Is it at a peak right now?

    No.

But 5 years from now it may be better than it's ever been.

And I can tell you this, Lesnar (and Heyman) has put a jolt into wrestling that reminds me of the Monday Night War era (the greatest ever).

Scalabrine, you are right on. Lesnar and Heyman have breathed life into this era. Brock is the one guy the fans believe in and will keep watching a match where he's beating the daylights out of someone,  and not get bored. In fact, they love it.

I hope WWE has a rough time while Brock is away to show that they need that kind of style. Like Heyman said...Lesnar is the biggest PG behind-Kicker in the PG Era and I wish they would have more of that.

I was disappointed in Raw last night because Raw is always amazing the night after WM and after Brock went crazy, it was so somber. And no surprise other than Sheamus who we all saw coming and he was even announced. It was cool to see Neville and the new Luchadors but a Luchador outside of Mysterio (who is hard to consider a Luchador) just never find success in the WWE.

I also find it interesting that they're calling Cole's injury a potential cervical fracture given that is how the Mexican wrestler recently died.

Can someone help me on some of the chants from the crowd during the main event. I knew there were a lot but I just couldn't make them out for the life of me.

"Suplex City" is now associated with Lesnar forever and I think that's awesome.

You're getting spoiled Sparky. The F5 on Cole alone was worth it had me marking out...in my own living room!

just to add...it was somber to a degree (but by NO MEANS was I not loving that Raw as a whole) but that was part of the storyline. He killed the announce team. But Lawler (who I believe was the second half of the duo) made it better than Cole's replacement.

Hope some of you understood that last post.

I agree that Saxton was awful. I understand that it takes a special talent to be a solo commentator but he was absolutely brutal and I don't get why he was sent down there alone to begin with and why it took them so long to send out Lawler.

Packers loses any and all credibility in any wrestling thread from here on out for a statement beyond ridiculous.

The day Vince dies will be a very sad day for all of wrestling...ALL of wrestling. He will go down as the greatest promoter/owner ever and that title will never be ceded.

Well if they didn't have to get rid of Josh Matthews due to budget cuts because of a falling stock price (what could they have been paying him anyway? $50K 60K??), the announcing wouldn't have been so somber.

They gave Saxton a try. It didn't work but imagine the pressure of calling Raw at his age. He can improve. There have been far worse!

Scal talking about credibility... Now thats funny

Consider this guys WWE's Network has 1.3 million subscribers, wrestlemania was their highest grossing ever... And the stock price went down!

WWE got a tv deal worth 50% more than the last 1 and when it was announced.... The stock went down! Because Vince Mcmahon told the marks i mean stockholders that WWE was getting NASCAR'S TV deal which is 850 million a year. When everyone knows wrestling fans watch wrestling they don't stay to watch what USA or SyFy has on next

They've been trying to force Vince off the board and i stick by what i said. WWE's only chance is Vince dying and the McMahon's selling the company to new blood. Because they have no clue what wrestling fans want

Again all of you are getting excited about Lesnar who's living proof Hooked On Phonics doesn't work for everyone. Sting, and the Rock and Undertaker and the reason they parade these guys out is because they can't create a new star"But what about Seth Rollins packers?" That's a man a month ago who got kicked in the giblets by Jon stewart and i have to take him seriously?

Put Hogan and Sting out there on Monday Night and they can bi*Ch about sh*T that happened 15 years ago that no one cares about. Hashtag that WWE!

Once again, Scalabrine nails it. Between you and Sparky, it's refreshing to have some intelligent conversation in here. Good points throughout this thread.

And I also thought RAW lost steam big time after Lesnar's rampage, but it was understandable and in a way, a steeping stone to the next rampage when he comes back. I was just hoping some of the other wrestlers would have better writing to keep the show going. It didn't happen on Monday. Let's see if they can get it going next week.

Why do you keep bringing up the WWE's stock price, which is directly tied to the Network, when we are here talking about the quality of WrestleMania and Post-WM Raw?

The stock price is not only tied to normal (and random) market fluctuations, but also DIRECTLY to subscribers (as you've repeated ad nauseam), which Vince sold to anyone who would buy his IPO like a corporate mastermind, far, far overestimating how many people would want the network (and he took in a massive haul and knew he couldn't meet such numbers).

Is the stock suffering? Yes. But again, that isn't significantly directly tied to Vince's contribution to:

    A) Wrestling throughout its history

    OR

    B) Wrestling and its storylines today

You sound like some low-level stockbroker who is taking it up the as* because you overbought WWE stock. That's not the conversation here. Most of us here could care less about the stock price (although we do care in general because it is now publicly owned and could be taken over so we want it to be somewhat healthy in general).

And patently ridiculous statements like this make you look even more the buffoon:

WWE's only chance is Vince dying and the McMahon's selling the company to new blood. Because they have no clue what wrestling fans want
