Where did it all go wrong ![]()
Good Question....
You can actually go to jail if you let your minor kids out after curfew, but it is ok to lie about their where-abouts for a month and then lie about how they died and then get away with it...?

That was the problem, there is no evidence that she killed her kid, she was found guilty by Nancy Grace who shoved this shit down everyones throat for years, the Evidence showed otherwise.

I just don't see how anyone on that jury didn't think that she didn't have any involvement in it what-so-ever.. All of her lies just kept pointing more and more towards guilt..
Oh well, time to move one....
I am more concerned as to why that poor woman was dead in the swimming pool and no one knew about it for 2 days...

I have already read about stories where people were convicted of murder and there was no body..

I completly agree with you that the prosecution blew this case on a monumental scale.
Also, lucky for the defense that I wasn't a juror because this might be the only case I've ever seen where I would have stuck with guilty no matter how longg it took. I would be personally responsible this lady spending the rest of her life in a cell or the chair.

Crow killer : She was convicted on 4 counts of lying to police.
Thats a max of 4 years in jail and she already served 3. So most likly she is a free lady come sentencing.

I'm not saying that she murdered her (even though she did)
Thats not the point.
The point for the 25th time is : She is responsible for the well being of her daughter, her daughter DIES and she continues to lie about every single thing that happen.
If you can't convince the jury that this is AT THE VERY LEAST mansluaghter ( and again before you say no eveidence, LYING about your dead kids whereabouts is EVIDENCE) then you should be fired.
I knew when they had 7 female jurors some of this bullshit would happen

Madshooter is spot on with his comments. I do this kid of stuff for a living. Read my post from the other Casey Anthony thread. As I stated "lot's of these high profile, big cases, are so watered down because of the media and public, the prosecution does not get the job done.
Is she guilty, probably so, but, the prosecution did not have enough to get the job done.

I know, but why didn't that work against her in the courtroom..?

Beats me. I never even considered moving out of the US, but the year 2011 has really made me weigh my options.
Online poker illegal, but lottery tickets sold in every store
terrible weed laws and now child killers being able to freely walk.
What is America coming to?

she was guilty of those charges
Wouldn't lying to the Police about a murder basically involve you in it..?

Haha can already get the good (obv not Cali good) but still.
Like the results of this case though, how can something that grows out of the earth freely be illegal, but thats a different debate altogether.

I guess not. I guess you can't convict someone on common sense.
Somebody already made this comment about Tom Cruise, but in the words of Detective Alonzo Harris.
"It's not what you know, it's what you can prove."
