I watched that and came away thinking Alex Jones is a pompous loud mouth.

People actually follow a windbag clown like that?

He looked like a complete idiot in that interview.  I know he's a "high energy" guy, but there is difference between being passionate and looking crazy.

Let me get your comments right before I title you an idiot on the subject.

Are you suggesting being pro 2nd Amendment makes someone have the highest levels of paranoia and fanaticism?

You do realize---The constitution is a set of laws to limit the governments power over the people---therefore, the 2nd amendment was not instilled for "hunting"--it was instilled to ensure the Government doesn't manipulate the armed forces to secure a potential corrupted governments unjust motives against the people it governs.

The only way the Government can increase it's power over the people it governs is to psychologically influence the people to believe it would be in their favor to give up their personal freedoms---

All the while----there is little mention that---every single shooting in the United States has been acted out by individuals who have been legally given drugs that increase violent thoughts----the labels even warn that side effects include  "Increased homicidal and suicidal thoughts"

Piers Morgan----I respect him for allowing views of opposition to his---but I lose respect for him when he fails to acknowledge a valid point.  He likes to show the statistic that 11000 gun deaths in USA vs 35 Gun deaths in the UK---yet he refuses to acknowledge the increase of murders due to other various weapons by people who were legally given drugs that increase homicidal thoughts.

Alex Jones tore it up on that show-----he has balls the size of the moon

You have to consider the topic at hand--- he was passionate about a very critical subject----he's trying to prevent what happened in history where innocent unarmed civilians were murdered by their own government----maybe that's why the 2nd amendment was put in place?

Tell me----in a war zone-----bullets flying, people dieing-----would a person speaking passionately to fellow troops be "crazy" or normal?  Don't answer---we both know, in a war zone you don't act as if youre in a library-

The show being broadcasted to millions of viewers on a topic as critical as freedoms of the people----is a war zone----Piers Morgan was shooting bullets with his mannerism, responses, and failures to acknowledge significant points for why the 2nd amendment is critical----he also failed to acknowledge the truth about drug companies that hand out pills that increase homicidal and suicidal thoughts because of his conflict of interest in accepting their sponsorship money to keep his show going.

I am actually a Jones fan to an extent, but when he goes on a show to debate or offer up his opinions, at least answer the questions posed to you in a professional manner.  Screaming over Piers and seeming as though he is trying to avoid questions does the cause no good.

Alex Jones is just a "provocateur" looking to get more people to go to his web site and listen to his talk radio show BUT he DID say one thing in the interview that was correct. IF the PILOTS of the 9-11 aircraft had been ARMED, the plot would have FAILED.

most people don't know that up until the early 1950's pilots were REQUIRED to be armed because the aircraft were carrying the US mail. that changed to where it was "optional" up until 1986 when airline managments, who where worried about "liability" got the FAA to ban guns from the cockpit.

on December 7th, 1987, a crazy LA based ramp agent who had been fired by US Air, used the employee ID card he had not turned in to bypass airport security and bring a gun aboard PSA flight 1771 which was a BEA 146 flying from LAX to SFO. he shot his former supervisor and then the pilots and the out of control aircraft crashed near San Luis Obispo northwest of LA killing all 43 people on board.

after the incident, many airline pilots lobbyed to go back to the "carry if your qualified" rule BUT the Secretary of Transportation Elizabeth Dole instead ordered that all airline employees, including flight crew, had to go thru airport security which effectively disarmed the "old school" pilots, many of whom where former military and even some "sheriff deputies", that were still carrying a gun in their flight bag. once agian, the airline companies worry about "liabilities" (and their continued attempts to abrogate "captains authority") trumped the safety of the aircraft, passengers and crew

since shortly after 9-11 there has been the Federal Flight Deck Officer (FFDO) program in which pilots can be trained and certified to carry in the cockpit BUT airline managements, once again using the straw man of "liability", have been lobbying to get the program curtailed and their have been massive cuts in it's budget the last two years.

IF the 9-11 pilots had been ARMED, it would have been "I will SEE your box cutter and RAISE you a Glock". BANG, BANG, BANG, END of INCIDENT!!!
