Favorite "ethnic" food

I love indian food, nan bread, popadoms, curry, the hotter the better, vindaloo is my fave , indian food made right is a spice lovers dream

Indian food is incredible. Ethiopian also is up there on my list along with real Thai.

Peruvian is positively the best in the world imo.

Well I think I overstated Ethiopian Dennis but if you know what to order it's actually amazing. Went full tilt on chow in Ethiopia when I was there a year ago. Amazing flavor and dishes at this little mom and pop restaurant I found in the middle of a pretty rough area.

Next day I was briefly paralyzed in my hotel room from the local moonshine and platter of spices.

Good stough though - was worth it. My boss got sick as all hell so it was an added bonus...had had to delay his flight.. 

Yup Rickey ie the Ethiopian food... I lived in Oakland for a short time before moving to san francisco in the 90s, and it was very available compared to most other areas of the US..... I didnt have any clue what to order, had I not gone with some friends of friends.... In my post, it was difficult to not make jokes about why *ahem* certain types of food come from where a lot of thin people are.... (shit Im so not pc  )

I'm a little biased but I love Vietnamese food.  If you guys never had it, give it a shot.  Pho could possibly change your life. 

Been eating a lot of Indian as well lately, and love it.  Nothing better than Lamb Vindaloo; I love spicy food.  Tried Ethiopian once, and probably won't do it again.  It's not terrible, but made me a little nauseous afterwards.  Never had Peruvian.   

Peruvian has some insanely "dynamic" (hyperbole?) spicy seasoning on some seafood dishes....

Colombian food

i love anything Chinese, but it is either way too oily, salty, or sweet.

i can live on just plain rice & tofu for a whole year!

Canadian? i have never heard of Canadian cuisine, not being a dick, i figured it was similar to US. How does it differ ? more French influence?

What the heck kinda food is ethiopian?

Yeah I eat Vietnamese from time to time as pigout food. Of course, the taste varies a little bit depending on which restaurant one goes to but the grilled chicken with egg on fried rice i have consistently been craving for. I also recommend Beef brisket soup.

Japanese, Greek and Italian

greek is excellent depeche, japanese also 

Thai>Indian

Indian food is unreal, sorta just discovered it... i went to this place in Vancouver that does African and Indian fusion.. game changing...

ethiopian and peruvian are both very underrated.
