My youngest daughter (who is quite healthy) runs on her treadmill twice weekly , walks her dogs daily, and does yoga twice weekly... CANNOT consume any wheat product due to MIGRANES !!
OKAY thats understandable, so what does that have to do with eggs? the subject matter of this thread. could you explain?

like many foods, for every study that says eggs are bad for you, you'll find at least one that says they are good for you. of course, it probably depends on how many you eat and if you are otherwise healthy or not. of course, it's hard to evaluate any study about eggs without knowing what kind of eggs they are using and what other foods the subjects are eating.
i eat eggs one or two days a week. always grass fed and antibiotic and hormone free.

Okay, I just wanted to chyme in real quick as to the one comment, because Train is absolutely RIGHT.
Your body NEED cholesterol AND Fat. Actually, your body needs more fat than almost anything else. As with almost anything, there are good and bad types of both cholesterol and fat.
Allow me to expand. Low Density Lipoprotein (AKA Bad cholesterol or LDL) is the one that clogs your arteries and can cause or at least lead to heart disease, heart attacks and strokes. Directly linked, unhealthy fats will cause a spike in your LDL levels. Soy is one of the absolute worst proteins as far as your LDL is concerned.
High Density Lipoproteins however (AKA Good cholesterol or HDL) actually helps REMOVE LDL from your arteries. Having high levels of HDL and low levels of LDL have been shown to reduce the risk of heart disease and strokes. Good sources are things such as high-fat fish like anchovies or sardines or shellfish, dark chocolate, and of course as per this conversation: Egg yolks!
Actually, the less cooked your egg yolks are the better (don't even talk about salmonella, because if that comes to mind you have no idea what you are talking about).
I could get more into healthy saturated fats like coconut oil, palm oil and animal fats if we really wanted to talk about it, but yes, drop the oatmeal, pump up the egg intake!
