Kevin Smith at home versus the saints

DeAngelo Williams on the road versus the giants

Michael Turner on the road versus the vikings

Ladanian Tomlinson on the road versus the Bucs

Right now I am thinking Kevin Smith for sure and then leaning either Turner or Williams for the second spot but I'd like to get some other inputs. 

Smith has been hot, Turner seems to struggle against strong D's and Williams has been hot against both. LT is probably out just due to how badly he has struggled this year to produce. The bucs D has looked bad against the run the last few weeks but I dont think I can trust him to get it done for me.

I don't know how you can sit DeAngelo Williams the way he's been playing. Same with Turner (despite the thread I started about sitting him). I know the Saints D isn't great but if the Lions get down early how much are they going to run it?

LT- Bucs Run D has looked very susceptible. Flip a coin for DeMangelo/Turner

 

Saints play pretty good run D... would bench Kevin Smith for sure.

 

Here are rushin yards allowed by the opposing D's

Minny - 71.2 yards

Saints - 108.7 yards

Tampa - 115.6 yards

Giants - 90.4

The lions can probably keep it close at home so I think Smith will get the carries he needs. Tampa seems to offer the least resistance but LT has not shown me much this year. In addition, Turner has struggled big time against tough run D's this year if my memory serves me correct. Huge game for Carolina against the G-men and Williams has gotten it done for the better part of 2 months. 

Right now I am leaning towards a Smith/Williams combo

of the matchups by the stat projections.
