Our league has never had 14 teams before, always 10 or 12. Has anyone had any experience with this, and what strategy should I take when bidding. I know last year with 10 teams, guys were willing to pay out $60+ for several different players (based on $200 bank). I was conservative and took alot of cheaper players who ended up breaking out and helped me win the league. Alot of guys realized they overpaid last season.
This year, should I jump in there and pay more for those superstars that I really want? Especially with 4 more teams, I think the conversative approach won't work as well since I'll have more people able to outbid me. What do you guys think?

Too late! Draft was tonight and I blew it. Bid up Romo to fuck with people and got stuck with him. And my bench is weak. Oh well, maybe Romo will tear it up this year.
