That is tough..
Portis seems to get banged up a lot these days and McFadden is in Y2. Steven Smith is still Carolina's go-to guy and I would lean to him because of Culpepper/Stafford question in Detroit.
Who do you have?
If I had to choose a side it would be Portis/Smith, but it wasn't easy.

I have the side with Johnson and McFadden. My receivers are Andre Johnson, Calvin Johnson, Antonio Bryant. The running backs are Pierre Thomas and McFadden with Moreno and Derrick Ward as backups. I am considering this deal even though I love Calvin Johnson because I feel I am a little weak at running back... Any other opinions?

Dont do it !
You have the bettor team right now. If you want to get rid of anybody deal or drop Bryant.
Start Thomas & Ward early , take a wait and see with McFadden and by the time the first bye week comes along you should have a healthy Moreno.
As far as your receivers go the Brothers Johnson are as good a tandem as it gets.
