James Davis anyone?

Jamal Lewis is injured.
 
Id like to pick up James Davis, Jamall appears to have some injuries on the hammy, I think James will be starting against the Ravens though. I dont plan on playing him against the ravens, but would like to pick him up
 
Thing is I'd like to pick up my game on the waiver wire, seems like I am always down the waiver wire order and never get guys like Mario Manningham ect.
 
Watcha all think? Im a browns fan, and from what I saw in pre-season, James Davis might just take jamals job. Wouldnt mind picking up a starting RB, they arent so easy to get your hands on now-a-days.
 
I also have to drop someone, the only 2 players I have to choose from are Mike Bell and Nate Washington.
 
Do you all think this is a smart move or should I just hold. I get a feeling Poor Mike Bell isnt going to have any carries when he gets back in shape to play.

I had him but dropped him this week had to many injuries at QB and with Westbrook...Needed some guys that can play this week.

I tell you the one reason that I try to get peyton manning every year is I dont have to ever worry about a injury, its very secure feeling having peyton.  I have him in both my leagues, got him 12th and 14th in both my leagues
 
I went ahead and picked him up, and picked up lynell, dropped the 2 above mentioned players. Always good to have them RB's
 
I really dont see Nate Washington ever playing on my team( I have Fitz and Steve Smith Car)

Davis was a BEAST in the preseason, and I too drafted him as a late round sleeper. Too bad they never use him....yet.

I say hold on to him. They took him to light fire under Jamal's ass, and it's only a matter of time before he takes over that backfield for good.

JS - well sorry to hear your a browns fan but as far as Davis goes glad to hear you snagged him, Jamal is on the downside

I am not sure how many of you all have been paying attention to this cat but Justin Forsett has gotten some press lately and could be the next Manningham on the wire get him while you still can if you feel like rolling the dice

no, keep him on pine.  He is splitting with Harrison, coming off injury and playing Ravens.....he may get you 30 yards.

I just picked him up thats all. If you read the thread I was just saying, Im trying a new approach this week, trying to guess who might be hot on the waiver wire before it happens.
