Yahoo is basic non ppr scoring as far as i know unless you get in a IDP league but I doubt it. Knowing the top 5 at each position is good but knowing 5 down is much more important. You have to realize that the top 5 rb and wide recievers are gonna be gone fast and you'll only get 1 or 2 if your lucky. I suggest looking at some top 100 ect. rankings to get an idea. Try to read articles about players to get some idea of who you want to target also. You can find fantasy football articles everywhere. Once you get some knowledge about the players i recommend trying a mock draft (good ones on FFcalculator) to see how you do. Remember draft day is the most important day of your fantasy season. Good luck

Definately do a mock draft before you do your real draft. I suggest espn.com. They will send the results to the email address you have the account under. Print it and take it with you on draft day. Also print out a ranked list of players by position. Cross the names out as people draft the players and when its your turn take the best available based on what position you need. You don't want to look like an ass and draft an 8th round guy in the 3rd round.
Personally, I would get a kicker last and a defense 2nd to last. Lock up your #1 RB first, #1WR secondand go with your gut after that.
Post your team here after your draft. Good luck.

I never did a league that scored like that. It looks like it favors RB's that get alot of carries. Try to get one in the first round.
Once you get your 1 QB, 3 RBs 4 WRs and 1 TE you should get your LB and DB. Maybe even sooner. Everyone else will be getting a 4th string RB or back up QB and you'll have the pick of the best guys. Print a list of who led the league in tackles last year and base it off of that.
If you notice LB and DB going sooner then change your gameplan. What the other guys do will dictate your stratagy. That goes for every position.

13 whatever else you wanna get until the last 2 rounds. Then go team def, the kicker.
Again, what the other people do and what players are available will change your order. Thats just a blue print I would use. If you pick late in the 1st round and Fitz is there I would grab him. GL.
Personally I would go
1 rb
2 wr
3 rb
4 wr
5 qb
6 wr
7 rb
8 wr
9 te
10 lb
11 db
12 qb
