Fantasy League Discussion Part #9

This year WILL NOT be a keeper league. We will start from fresh next season as it should. We dont want to force anything here so we will do it the right way

Now I can trade Cargo and try to salvage this season.

ManRam:  good call on the decision, i think its gonna be alot better that we do it from the beginning, people will draft differently and we know the rules ahead of time.....

Ya there is just to many questions if we do it and i want everyone to be happy with what we do as a league

What are we thinking about the football league? Keeper? Dynasty?

Keeper is too much tougher in football imo.

I hate myself for not knowing this....

whats the difference between keeper and dynasty, I thought they are the same?

I'm assuming Dynasty is what we're doing now. Keeper is over a multi-year stretch.

A keeper is what you think and a dynasty is basically a team build. You draft your team and that is your team for the next how ever many years. Then each year you dont draft anything but the rookie class that is coming into the NFL. The team who finishes last gets first pick and so on in the rookie draft. This year you would figure Ryan Mattews would be the 1st pick.

I vote for football being what we did with baseball this season.

i vote no to dynasty for football but yes to a keeper league if its a low # like 2 guys...

Dude...2 guys on the DL. Wells, Happ, Morrow and Bumgarner giving up about 29 runs in like 9 innings. Dunn hitting home run after home run after home run. Pujols hitting home run after home run after home run. Parnell blowing a win from Niese.

Unless Kershaw and Hudson give up about 10 runs each tonight with 0 Ks...I'm pretty much gonna finish this week 0fer.

Or...I need Cruz, Span, Quentin, Werth, Cargo, JRoll, Beckham and Weeks to all hit multiple homers and MAYBE...I'll have a chance.

I have 5 homers...3 of them are solos. Does Dunn even know what a solo homer is? Or is it that every time he hits one he has to top it with a 3 run bomb with his next homer?

However...I won't trade guys just to trade guys. I'm not going to just make other teams better because I'm out of it. It's unethical.

But...I've seen crazy things. Look at Alvarez. 4 homers in 2 days with a grand slam. So I can come back. Or...one of your guys could have that type of game. Which would be disrespectful seeing that I'm down 8-0

Thinking of going to team defenses instead of individual guys. With alot of newer guys im trying to figure out what would be best for everyone
