I was more confused on the fact that he was grading Werth and Chris Young the same. I could have had either for my package.

He came into my box and said he was interested in Heyward. Then I asked for a 2 for 1 to clear a spot. And it seemed as if he really wanted Wood with Heyward. He loves his pitching as he just traded for Ubaldo too and then, of course, the big trade where he brought in Strasburg as well (with Werth).

I think Heyward will have a nice 2nd half. Not sure too much about Wood aside from the fact that he's BEEN good. But I also expect Werth to bust out and do damage in the 2nd...like he should.

also....thats two trades now, with this Wood guy and Dex Fowler

the player was picked up off free agents, then involved in a fairly lopsided trade just 5 days later (IMO)

Well that's not fair. It's all about how someone likes a guy. Hell...I like Santana and Posey but couldn't pick them up and now would like to trade for them. I wanted them when they both came up. I just missed out. iSTEAL probably "just missed out" on Wood and wanted him. I know phillyfan wanted him...but not enough to trade I guess.

Like I said...the offer is there. I'm not trading him for anyone. It's either the deal I offered you or I keep him.

depends on what your league settings are. sometimes special teams states like return yardage gets credited to your defense, sometimes leagues have defensive players on the roster, etc. i would say in a standard league return yardage would not yield points but take a look at the league settings prior to drafting as this plays a huge factor in draft strategy, especially if u get like 1pt per 10 yards of return.

Hey Philly - Return Stats and TD's usually go to your team defense - though this league has ind. def players..in this case it looks like return TD's will be counted for both offensive and defensive players, but not the yards...Commish please correct if im wrong

roundin:  thanks for the explanation, i was looking at the settings but it doesnt say anything about special team TD's unless i missed it.. i'll wait for ManRam to clarify ..

tiiitensx:  thanks, in this league we have IDP's so i was wondering if i get a special team TD (kick/punt return) how's it graded?  we do get 1pt for every 10 rush/rec. yard.      20 pass yards =1pt

i know the pts for each catagory but didnt see special teams, im assuming we get 6 pts for the TD's on special teams if you have the guy plugged in an offense/defensive roster slot..

where's my favorite commissioner  at tonight ??

1 "move" left sparky, the next guy that gets hot will be yours, even if its Ross Gload..

lol did you look at the league?  sorry...

its simple...any RETURN TD is worth 6 points

Return yards equal nothing, that might be the worst stat ever to have in fantasy besides when people do walks and doubles and such in baseball lol

Valencia isn't helping me at all.

Speaking of trades...I'm won much more than I lost.

Ethier, Utley and Davis for Morneau, Cruz and Hughes: Looked awful at first. But Ethier hit the DL right after that. Utley was slumping. And now Utley is on the DL.

Cruz for Rollins: Rollins went back on the DL but he's with me now. As is Cruz.

Manny for Figgins: Kinda didn't help anyone. Manny's on the DL while Figgins got me SBs to win a catagory for 1 week.

Magglio for Cargo and Leake: Magglio started a slump right after and is now on the DL. Cargo is now my most productive player.

Morneau and Gio for Ludwick, Garcia, and Vargas: Morneau hit the DL, Gio woulda been dropped by me, and Garcia turned into another great trade. Vargas is solid as well.

Andrus for Cruz: Cruz has been on FIRE since I got him while Andrus has NOT.

Boesch and Garcia for Adrian: Adrian got me a few HRs while Boesch has been in a monster slump. And Adrian turned into another great trade.

Heyward and Wood for Werth: As you know...Werth has been playing much better. What...3 homers in a few days? Heyward isn't doing much. Wood is good but it may seem as if that game against the Phillies was more smoke and mirrors.

Adrian for Weeks and Marmol: Marmol has more than double the Ks than his IP and can get me a save and a catagory if I face you or 2169. Weeks, on the other hand, has been even better than Adrian offensively and spared me Figgins at 2nd.

I've had a share of bad trades to but I've really worked myself back up. Remember when my best hitter was Morneau because Morales went to the DL? How far have I come?

But only 1 move left is a real killer. It's hurting so badly knowing that the next move is my LAST. I have a few moves in mind but I can't do anything about it.

By the way...Andrus is 2-2 with a SB and a run scored so far.

By the way...Ludwick is on the block if anyone is interested. Note...he's batting behind Pujols and Holliday.
