See...I couldn't do that. I was offered Ludwick, Sandoval and Garcia for Morneau and Wiggington. It's just really hard to give him such a big bat to add to what he has when I know that allows him to trade another top notch 1B to get another HUGE piece to his team.

But that trade ManRam offered blows Uribe/Davis out of the water, you know? But I acn see you really don't want to give up Cargo. So it makes it more tough.

dont gimme that shit sparky, yes i do think uribe and cargo will continue and yes cargo and morneau are the same player, stats are everything in fantasy on offense,  i could use target field as a reason not to want morneau also, but i dont..   suite urself, im good with my two guys...

depth?  are u kiddin'?  cargo is a starter on most teams and uribe is quietly having a better year then alot of the top SS guys out there...

    uribe: .289/11/42/33

hanley: .285/10/36/35   sb's are only diff.

jeter: .286/8/39/42    sb's are only diff.

    zobrist: .310/5/35/31/

u gotta stop with over-pricing guys,  people say Dunn isnt a good 1B guy cause he K's alot but he has his AVG up to .288 with 15 hr's and 36 rbi's/39 R's         morneau has way better AVG but dunn's other catagories are equal, i cant over-pay for him and i said i would give u a guy to make up his stats plus a Pitcher but thats not good enough, maybe this is why your sitting in the basement my friend, you think stats are meaningless in a game where stats are everything

just like manram said, when a guy is doing good u say "he cant keep it up" but they have been YTD...

Cargo would be my starter, obviously, but he then allows me to move another OF for another piece to the puzzle.

But listen...I've been ragged on multiple times for "bad" trades I've made. If anyone else was offered Davis/Uribe for Morneau...they'd laugh at that. And you know that.

u gotta stop with over-pricing guys,  people say Dunn isnt a good 1B guy cause he K's alot but he has his AVG up to .288 with 15 hr's and 36 rbi's/39 R's         morneau has way better AVG but dunn's other catagories are equal, i cant over-pay for him and i said i would give u a guy to make up his stats plus a Pitcher but thats not good enough, maybe this is why your sitting in the basement my friend, you think stats are meaningless in a game where stats are everything

just like manram said, when a guy is doing good u say "he cant keep it up" but they have been YTD...

Cargo would be my starter, obviously, but he then allows me to move another OF for another piece to the puzzle.

But listen...I've been ragged on multiple times for "bad" trades I've made. If anyone else was offered Davis/Uribe for Morneau...they'd laugh at that. And you know that.

he offered you ludwick/sandoval and garcia for morneau and wigginton,  im only taking morneau not a 2nd guy,  you can get sandovals #'s on the FA list and i dont know why you'd be interested in him, he's not the same player as last year and he has 6 hr with 27 rbi's and 36 R's...  you ready for this, i just grabbed gomes off FA list who has a higher AVG (..296) more HR's (9)  more RBI'S (47 ) and a few less R's  so you see how easy it is to compensate for Big name players that arent producing,    you give morneau to manram then he has CABRERA, AD.GONZALEZ, VOTTO, and MORNEAU    while giving you a great young arm in garcia but a noodle in sandoval and a decent player in ludwick  (11 hr/39rbi/38 r's)

he's using sandovals name as the bait !   hook/line then sinker sparky...    you must be young bro' cause your nieve

thats like me giving you  Cargo/guillen and a SP like marcum or leake..

Oh no man...that's not it. I gave up Sandoval...I'm not interested in getting him back. But, when it's all said and done, if you think Wiggington will have a better overall season than Sandoval, you got to be crazy.

And this is what makes me hesitant to accept the trade. I just traded Verlander...I'm not interested in Garcia. I don't care for a top notch starting pitcher. And ManRam basically gave me the choice of Ludwick or Byrd. McCann was also involved in a trade offer. He's giving me tons of possibilities.

I'm just saying...you say you want Morneau but your best offer was Davis/Uribe. Does that make me nieve because I don't think those 2 will give me the same production that Morneau will? I don't understand how.

What have people said about Tex this season? Some call him garbage, but most say he'll get his usual 30+ Homers and 120+ RBIs. Why? Because he has a track record. I'm sorry that I'm looking to get players with a track record in exchange for someone with a really good track record in Morneau. At the end of the season...we know what we'll get from Morneau. Uribe is having a career year, will he come down to earth or will he keep up the pace? With no track record like that...how could I give up a top star by taking that chance? Same with Byrd. He's never had a seaosn like this before. Also...he's never been a full season starter either. What if he's one of those 1st half wonders and falls apart in the 2nd half? Then I'm screwed. What if he puts up MVP type numbers? Then I win. But why go on speculation? I perfer to know what I'm going to get then be surprised.

But McCann isn't having a season worth while to take in a trade. I'll put that out there.

my best offer wasnt davis/uribe, i just said i didnt want to do cargo/uribe for morneau cause at the end of each week i would say 80% of the time them 2 guys will produce better #'s combined then morneau, you agree? thats how i look at guys stats, it is fantasy so i look at what guys can contribute the most each week to win catagories,  that is why we do this i thought !   so i just said davis without really looking at my roster and seeing what else i can do, sry if i offended you,  no harm intended...

    morneau is 5 for his L35 ab's with  0 HR and 3 RBI's

WE'LL TALK LATER TONIGHT.. IM UP TO LATE

I wanted Morneau only to trade Votto/Gonzalez to powerade for Matt Kemp. I dont know why everyone is so worried about whats on my team when i get a player in a trade. If the trade i make with you MAKES YOUR TEAM BETTER than what the hell does it matter? If i got Morneau ya i would have Votto, Gonzalez, Cabrera as well but i also run out players like Kelly Johnson, Ryan Ludwick, Marlon Byrd, Brett Gardner, Delmon Young and Andres Torres who all suck. Who the hell has even ever heard of these guys? Everyone knows you cant be good unless you are a well known player. Then i have the household names McCann, Sandoval and Lind who everyone knows and are struggling but its impossible for them to come out of their early season struggles because they never have before

Actually, for what it's worth, Lind and Sandoval only had 1 full season of great baseball. Name comes in a bit for me, but it's give or take. I don't think Gardner can keep up what he's doing because I've seen him for years and I'm just waiting for him to go back down to his old self, but hoping his doesn't. But a guy like Ludwick has done it before. And while not AMAZING in the past (aside from 1 breakout season)...while batting cleanup...you get what is given to you.

Basically, everything you wrote was MY mindset. Nobody else's. And that's why I'm in last place. So be it. But I'm trying to correct myself now and I will be making a trade for Morneau today if anyone is still interested in him after all this talk. And I also plan to make a few more trades by weeks end which should finish up what I am trying to do.

So far this week I've benched Manny and benched Colvin and both had homers.

I made my lineup last night and didn't bother to check it. I mean...Colvin never started against a lefty before...why should I expect him to do today? Lou has no idea what he is doing. Anybody hear what Silva's injury was? I mean, he must be injured to be taken out after 70 pitches.

    Magglio helped me out though.

And how is Morrow struggling against the Giants? He can go to Coors and pitch well against the Rockies but now he's all over the place? This is why I quit betting baseball...you never know what you're going to get.

Haha that guy is ALWAYS making 10 threads a night saying how bad every player in the MLB is. Every time i see one i go in and poke a little fun at him and he gets wicked pissed. Last night it was pry about his 5th or 6th thread and he said he was done betting baseball forever. Saying how every night his team is winning at one point and then they lose. I basically told him to shut the fuck up and stop bitching every single night and there is a reason why a baseball game is 9 innings and not 5. Its never his fault. He could bet Wandy Rodriguez on any given night and then start a thread about how he should be making less than he is and how bad of a pitcher he is. Its like dumbass you bet him its no one elses fault but yours. Look at his stats. The guy is terrible. I started posting baseball plays again but there is no point. I find myself going in a bashing idiots then actually posting my plays. The forum is little to no help now a days. I will wait for football
