The Knicks started the 2nd half with a rotation of Jeremy Lin, Landry Fields, Steve Novak, Bill Walker and Jared Jeffries. No Amar'e. No Melo. Chandler in foul trouble all game. And Lin led them to a win against a 13-9 Utah team who would have blown the Knicks out of the water 2 weeks ago no matter where they played. Plus, even Deron Williams said that Lin played great defense on him. And he played a career high in minutes last night and topped that tonight. I didn't even see him on the bench in the 2nd half.

He's the only guy on this team who can pass. Sure he's not a 20 point scorer. But given the freedom from D'Antoni and the confidence from his teammates...he could very well be the guy they've needed all along to help this team with his pass first mentality and his ability to drive to the basket and either score or dish out. It can't be easy to drive on Millsap and Jefferson.

I think Lin can help, but it just further complicates the situation there, especially when baron shows up...
d'antonni needs to pick something and stick with... they have alot of young guards that are learning how to play in the NBA and he keeps getting the offense changed...
I woudlnt read too much into a game without amare and mello...
Lin is not ready to play 40 minutes a game over weeks... neither is shumpert... dantonni has a way of running his PGs into the ground... duhon and felton are good examples...
Its going to be a tough week for me with out mello and matched up against sparky...
I think I am have too much of an attachment to shumpert and should probably drop him...
even though lin gets all the hype tonight... shumpert had 6 rbs, 6 asts, 3 steals, 1 block and 8 points on 3 of 10 shooting, meaning he has room to improve on that... but some nice stats... I just need him to start hitting some 3s...

Not to mention Dalembert is garbage now, Hawes is hurt again, and Jack will come back soon enough and push Greivis back and take away his assists and some points if not completely pushing him back to the bench.
