I don't like him anyway...but I'm also in no position to be trading away draft picks.

I go from facing #1 in the league to facing #2.

And I'm going into this matchup crippled.

sparky:  im fine dealing Cain but if Hernandez isnt staying as closer then he's not worth having. 

espinosa's #'s are horrible last few weeks..  im not taking that on.. my team has a 5 week winning streak so im not trying to shake up to much..  i didnt even expect to be up in Playoff contention givin' the fact that i was in last place at one time..  since wk 12 ive won 6-4, 8-2, 6-4, 9-1 and 6-3 so im pretty content with where im at..  

 drafts picks for players...I have no idea what is fair/even and such lol

powerade:  i canceled that offer but i am interested in Hamels and Bell if u wanted to try and work something out.  i thought my 4th was to much for what u offered me.

Philly and PSM -I'm interested in both of those trades. My thing is trying to gauge the value-worth of players for picks ya know.

How about this....anyone who sees this, please answer what you think the following guys are worth for picks?

How much is someone like Lance Berkman worth (non contract)?
How much is someone like Matt Harrison worth (non contract)?
How much is someone like Johnny Peralta worth (non contract)?
How much is someone like Freddie Freeman worth (rookie eligible)?

just picked 3 guys on my team to see....1 very good but definitley a surprise, 1 okay to good this year, 1 very good player this year and 1 pretty good but rookie eligible.

Just using this for a gauge on what people think with the picks in general.

Berkman can be given a franchise tag by the way. Not sure if that will matter too much since I'm sure nobody will pay extra and hope to the heavens that he has a good season next year.

But everyone on that list is franchise tag eligible while Freeman is rookie eligible.

Just throwing that out there. I won't rank them though. I couldn't begin.

And...for what it's worth...Pena is not worth a 3rd round pick.

powerade:  any guy drafted in the final 9 rounds OR picked up off the Free Agent List (NOT WAIVERS) can be tagged with the Franchise Tag.   like sparky said, all of them qualify cause Berkman was a FA pickup correct ?                                                                                         

each manager is gonna view this differently and have different opinions on Draft picks.
