Well...whether this one goes down or not...I have another trade that will slightly help me in that department. But slightly as in...it's just the first step.

I still have ways of having some decent draft picks next season. And it won't be for shit as long as I have Cruz, Cargo and Hosmer. Hopefully Harper will be an early season callup to help me there too. Plus the fact that the draft is just a casualty. How many stars are on teams that nobody drafted? I understand that we'll have more roster spots next season...but I'll make due with what I have. I hardly ever finish a season with what I drafted anyway.

Rarely do I make a move that doesn't have a move following it to cover all basis. That's essential. But also...most moves that I make make other players movable so it's not as hard to tolerate.

There's not much more I can do in any offer that I have out there...but worst comes to worst...I want to at least know of the deal that is beating me before it's accepted just to see.
