2009 Fantasy Football Thread

I really enjoy fantasy football, and I have had moderate success the past two years playing it (winning my company league twice and finishing top 5 in another very involved league). Anyhow, just thought I would start a thread to discuss strategy with others.

 

Just had the first of two drafts today in a league that is probably way more complicated than it needs to be.  The league is a PPR league and we start the folliwng:

 

QB - 1

WR - 3

RB - 2

TE - 1

W/R - 1

W/T - 1

W/R/T - 1

K - 1

D - 2

LB - 3

S - 2

CB - 2

DE - 1

DT - 1

Bench - 3

 

Be back in a bit with draft results.

I drafted 9th out of 16 players (I told you this league was complicated).

I know, the Cassel thing worries me. I waited way too long to draft a QB, so now I may be in a bit of trouble. The only viable options at the moment are Delhomme, Det starter, Cle starter, or Sanchez.

 

I am hoping that someone drops their backup before the first game, as this league doesn't really reward you for carrying multiple QB's.

Just had my second draft. This league is pretty standard as far as scoring, and we need the following:

Def/SP - 1

Bench - 6
