Texas is feeling Oklahoma right behind them in the BCS standing. Oklahoma plays Okl St this week, should Sooners do win they might leap frog Texas. Therefore I think style pts is what Texas is trying to do here. They will run up the score here if they can. Texas is the play here . BOL folks

Guess gonna lay off here too much chalk for me and I can't see AM making a game of it but 21 is just to many points for an instate game, they will probably cover in the first period but I'm going hold my coin for a better spot

Big - and I mean BIG - rivalry game.  Granted A&M is probably battling Iowa St. for worst team in the Big 12, but they ALWAYS play Texas tough.  Even when Texas had Vince Young and went on to win the championship, A&M gave them all kinds of fits.  Texas SHOULD win by 40 on paper, but this is THE game A&M and Longhorn players circle on their calendars each year.

This year Texas has covered 34 against Fla Atl , Arkansas , and Rice.

Exactly right.  The play here is Texas A&M +35.5.  A&M will score at least 21 points in this game which would cause Texas to score 56+ which I don't think will happen.  Remember OU beat the Aggies 66-28, who are much better team (and I don't care that Texas beat OU, since we all know who is playing the best football in the country [sans Florida] right now).

After further thoughts, I decide that 35 pts is too much chalks, so Laying off in this one.

I think if it's too much......then you take it!  5 TD's........wow......A&M sucks......but Texas doesn't have a shut down defense........A&M can score 20.........especially at home.........will Texas get to 56?  They certainly could.........rivalry game to boot..........gotta think about this one a little bit more.

Anyone who saw Mack Browns comment about the current BCS standings knows he means business this week.  Mack Brown is usually the politician in these situations, and all he said was everyone in America will be watching us Thursday night!  You could tell that he is pissed at Stoops for his early ranting and I think Texas will take it out on A&M.  Texas has to beat them worse then OU beat Tech. 
 
Yeah, this is a rivarly game and anything could happen.  I just see this team having something to prove if they want to jump OU.  Would not be surprised to see Texas put up over 60, maybe 70.  They wont slow down until the game is over either, they can't, Stoops already set this tone. Its all style points Thursday!

Texas doesn't have a shut down defense?  They give up less than 20 pts a game.  And thats including teams like OU, Tech, OSU, Missouri who all light up the score board.  Do some research, you might learn something!

it really isn't to much for them to cover considering they beat kansas by 28 points and you have to think kansas is better then this A and M team? its just i dont like giving this many points i like to keep it at least under 4 touchdowns if not then less

I think 35.5 is too many points to lay, but then again TA&M's defense is ranked #142 overall.  Can't get much lower than that.  They gave up 41 to Baylor last week.   No play for me, the line is probly about dead on.

After watching both Mac Brown and Bob Stoops talk about their current BCS situations, it is clear that Texas will throw the kitchen sink at A&M for all 60 minutes.  Mac made it very clear that the college football world will be tuned in on Thursday night and he believes his team must make a good impression to leave no doubt that Texas deserves it more than Oklahoma.  I don't typically touch this many points, but I will ride the Longhorns on Thursday.

One hint here... This is a Huge rivalry for those that do not keep up with Big12 South football. When was the last time Texas beat  A&M by 35???

Texas A&M has lost to a Big 12 conference opponent by 35 or more plenty over the last decade.  The last time they were this bad record wise they lost to Oklahoma 77-0.
 
In just their last 2 games they lost to Oklahoma by 38 and to Baylor by 20.  Maybe if they had the game at home, but it's at Texas.  Speaking of rivalry's, Texas A&M shocked Texas last year as they changed their whole conservative minded gameplan to honor Coach Francione.  Texas rolls!

I mentioned when was the last time Texas beat A&M by 35 not anyone else in the Big12... This is a rivalry game just like OSU and Oklahoma. Hence, throw away all the records and stats thus far.

I think you need to do the research! Yes, they give up 19.5 points a game. But to the teams YOU mentioned in your post they gave up 32.2 points a game!! Yes, they were able to stop those power houses of Arkansas, Rice, UTEP and Colorado from scoring points. Damn, I am impressed!  Real tough to shut down those teams. A&M hasn't scored less the 21 points in any game this year.

Don't have time to research this but I believe 32.2 is below all those teams season average.  Texas has steller athletes on defense, they are more than capable of making big plays against A&M's prolific offense.

Big rivalry game. Not sure about a side, but Texas has been scoring in the mid 40's, and A&M in the mid 20's, me sees an over... GL to all
