Ok, it's official.  I've done a complete 180 since two weeks ago on this game.  I'm gonna hit the money line on this game and bang on SMU +12.  I also like the under, but in light of the last couple nights picking the outcome right and the total wrong, I'm just laser focussed on SMU.  They are going to be very excited to play this game after not going to a bolw for 25 years.  Nevada hasn't played very well in the last 3 years in bowls, and with missing 2  1,000 yd rushers, one of them the main man.......I think they are going to be a little lacking tonight and might just get steam rolled.  GL to everyone and Merry Christmas and  Happy Festivus to all!!!!

Lippincott was a tough runner usualy fought for 2-3 extra yards and some speed.

SMU barely squeaked by two of the this season's SUCKIEST teams in the NCAAF, Tulane and Rice! 

Nevada will chew up and fart out SMU

Was leaning SMU from the start or the over but with those horses out for Nevada I'm staying away from the total. Colin Kapernick is a very good mobile qb and can throw well on the run but without a running game to back him up I see a tough night for him scoring as much points as they normally do.

I'll be back with my final pick but still guessing for now so it's nothing solid.

Still leaning on over and/or Nevada this O line opens huge holes. They posted 33 in 3 quarters against Boise (Lippincott 1 carry that game).

Pack is my hometown team but...

they are ranked 119th in pass defense and nation worst 31 TDP allowed in 2009.

Arrrrghh!!  Nevada's QB could almost make up the rushing yards of Taua and Lippincott.  He can definitely scramble.  I'm definitely leaning SMU and the Under here, but even Nevada's back up RB's (Freshman, & Sophomore) can put up the yards and score.  Anyone feel like the line should be more like single digits at this point?  I still can get over the fact that SMU lost to Washington State this year.  Freaking Washington State?  Can someone post some stats on Nevada's back RB's for this year?  Would appreciate it.  This is shaping up to be a very difficult game to call.

Nevada -11.5  Yes, it sucks that the Pack will be without Taua and Lippincott, but the bottom line is that QB Kaepernick has 1160 rushing yards and 16 rushing tds. This guy will step up and make this a blow out. Also, the under should be a safe play.
