Both teams the real deal.Rutgers is not as good as last year is what everyone is saying. SF is a powerhouse to be reckoned with, I think this pisses Rutgers off and they play well here and come away with the edge, lets see how the numbers progress closer to game time but the lean is Rutgers.

I like SF -2.5 here. They have taken care of business all season long, and I doubt it will stop Thursday. Rutgers has yet to prove themselves this season and dropped games against two very beatable teams (cincy and maryland). I'm not saying SF can't be stopped, I just don't think Rutgers is the team to do it.

like S. Florida as well, but this may be one of those games where all the emotion is on the side of Rutgers for an upset. The Big East got a fair share of upsets last year that weren't expected, and the trend seems to be continuing (UL over Cincy). Think I may just watch this game, if I can.

I have been on the So Fla train all year, and have won 4 or 5 times with them so far this year. They are for real. But my lean here is on Rutgers with pts at home. Hoping it goes up to +4. Ray Rice is finally warming up, had his best game of the year last week, 196 yds. He got over 200 yds vs USF last year.

Rutgers huge here....South Florida's win against WVU is not that impressive to me. They won by 8 points. WVU gave up 7 turnovers. Rutgers will not give that to them. Pat White played half a game. South Florida is bound to get beat they are over rated. Don't be surprised if South Florida loses three of there final games before the years over. HOME/DOG THURSDAY night Rutgers money line big!!!

South Florida turns the ball over too much to be a real contender. They are pretty equal as far as talent. USF is way overrated. Auburn is not that good and neither is WVU. USF snuck up on them and surprised them. I'll take Rutgers and the points. Home dog on national TV. I'll take that.

I think the speed and athletes on S Floridas defense merits a little credit for the 7 turnovers don't you? White getting hurt didn't happen in the locker room or on the way to the field, he got hurt by a fast swarming defense laying hats on his *ss.
I am sure S Florida is overrated but so is Rutgers, they are getting a lot of credit from last season in the weakest conference in Football.
Just because they had two big wins at home doesn't mean they can't win on the road, they did go into WVU last year and beat their *sses, Most of those kids are still with the team. They will be up for this game, hell they have to be, everybody is doubting them and they have a we have something to prove chip on their shoulders...
That us against everyone mentality brings a team even closer together. All things being equal, I don't believe these teams are equal, defense and team speed is a great winning formula and S Florida has more of it than Rutgers does.

rock force, me and you are in complete agreement. SF cannot play on the road. They will lose, my gut says by 14 but probably more like 7-10 points. We all know that the rutgers house will be load and they will be pumped to show last year was no fluke. Also I will say with complete confidence that the coaching edge lies in rutgers favor. More or less, if this was being played at USF, Id stay away, not when its in New Jersey, the stench alone gives rutgers the clear advantage.

WVU has a great O.. Their D is not that good, that is true but look at their record over the past 2-3 years and tell me they aren't any good. SFU ,as bad as I hate it, are very good and there D is tough as hell. Rutgers will have their hands full with this speedy D thurs night and they will Lose.
