I got Oregon at the half -6.5 for 2 units. I feel much better that BigD is taking the same bet. Good luck all.

Guys and gals...I was way off last night on the over play and I may well be wrong on this one too, but I am pounding the Ducks -11. Quack Quack and whatnot! Go Ducks! Good luck which ever way you go.

I'm jealous on how the majority has the 1st half line at 6.5 and I got it at 7. It goes to show how much the local hates me.
 
This game starts 4:00pm Hawaii time so 1 more hour to go to see if the curse is still with the number 2.

First time poster here, but I have enjoyed this site for the last couple of weeks. I am 3-0 thus far on football this week, so that's a good thing. I just did the unholy and teased Oregon down to -5 and under 72.5.

OK, I'm now in:

Oregon -6.5 at the half -- 2 units
Oregon -11.5 final -- 1 unit
Total -- no play (unless I see it come down to 64, will consider over.)

I just don't see Oregon getting surprised in this game.  All the upsets this year, especially the # 2 jinx, has people almost expecting it here.  But to say Arizona is playing "great football lately" is a stretch.  They beat UCLA, a 5-5 team who was really banged up that day, and before that Washington in a shootout, 48-41.  I'm not sure how giving up 41 pts to anyone is "playing great football."  Yes, the Thursday Night Dog may bark... but he might also spend the night in the doghouse. 

Also, the low ranking on the Oregon pass defense, based on yardage, is misleading.  They lead the conference in turnovers and have 30 sacks on the year.  Basically, they make plays.  Right now it may seem a tall order to some to beat AZ by double digits away... but in the end I expect OR to not get huge props out of a solid win here, as in retrospect AZ will be seen as a relatively mediocre opponent.

Oregon leads the nation in Passes Had Intercepted -- only 3 on the year.     OR # 1 (3)      AZ # 32 (9)
