Colt was a Freshman in that game smart guy. BIG difference now. Colt has done more all year than any other qb with less on offense to help him. Texas also has the best D coordinator in the Nation now. TECH got LUCKY when Gideon dropped the GAME ENDING INTERCEPTION IN LUBBOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Texas was playing their 4th straight team in the top 12 on the ROAD. Tech got LUCKY.
Ohio St. should get butt rapped in another game they don't belong in. The big ten is straight up GARBAGE this year. Ohio st couldn't even beat Penn St.'s SHITTY offense in the SHOE. Everyone knows the real talent in football comes from Florida, Texas and California....Northern fairies play HOCKEY. Can't wait to see sweater vest lose his job!!!!!!

We play for 3 national titles in 7 yrs and we lose 2 of them to FLA so we are garbage after you just admitted we played an elite program?? I know you're looking to incite a riott on line so I'll just stick to the game.
USC would have beat us even with Beenie but in essence we "beat" PSU (just like you "beat" Tech). Our rook QB fumbled on 3rd and 1 on our ~40 in the waning minutes. As I recall your rook Colt took it on the chin from us once. Granted most of the BIG 10 had offensive woes in most cases, but OSU was without a standout QB (with experience anyway) and Beenie was out much of the season. Well Prior has a yr of experience now and Beenie is healthy. Special teams and the staunch D (Laurinitis & DB's) will keep us in this game. We will pound it, shorten the game and Robisky and CO will score just enough to keep us in for the cover and challenge for the win. I won't be too upset to lose to Texas as I spent 4 yrs at Parker Chiro. school in Dallas, but there will be no blowout this yr. in Phoeniz! Buckeye backers I applaud your guts and resolve to post online.

Ohio State has faced Penn State and USC with as good or better defenses and they avg 28.2 ppg... and playing a freshman to get him experience. Will Muschamp has had six weeks to scheme. They also had to deal with robert griffin, a better freshman qb than prior with very similar games. He is more accurate and more intelligent(i would give prior a slight edge in running, but this is only because he is heavier). Griffin was not able to pass well, but did a good job running. I think Will Muschamp will analyze this game heavily in preparation for OSU and be prepared for their mobile freshman qb. The one that gave PSU the "lucky" win.

I know you guys like OSU and Wells is playing now and they are OSU players and yada yada yada, but you know Texas is good and has a great defense and has played way harder opponants this year and beaten them all but one little rivalry game. OSU with Wells, a chance, without Wells, NO CHANCE. Wells must perform in this game huge for OSU to win.

Look out.......Ohio St could be the new Notre Dame.......they have been getting matched up in bowls that they have a hard time lining up with the team they are asked to play. Ohio St hasn't won a big game in a couple of years........They barely excaped Wiskey with a last minute, low scoring win this year.......USC mudstomped them.......Penn St beat them in their house with all the Big Ten marbles at stake!! They have been murdered the last two years in the big game!!!! Now they bring in a slow, plodding, run oriented team that didn't even win the weak Big Ten??? Big Ten with only one straight up win this year in the bowls???? I don't think I can get on the sweater vest's side of this one.........

1. Ohio St. absolutely needs this game.
2. Texas has no motivation. A lot of us fall into the trap of "they want to prove they should have been in the NCG", but if you look over the past 5 years or so, this logiv never works out, and the team that got snubbed, usually ends up falling on their face.
3. Pryor is getting better and better. I flew out for the Wisconsin game, and it was almost a turning point in his career. We were laughing at him in the first half, and very impressed in the 2nd half.
4. I see Ohio St. Special Teams/Defense doing something here. And I think it will be early....leading to a huge momentum shift.
5. Another classic reverse line movement. Why buck a trend that wins EVERY time. Vegas knows what they are doing, and they are inviting more and more action on OSU.
