How can EVERYONE not be on the over here? OK has scored 60 plus 4 weeks in a row and 58 the week before that! It does not take a genius to know that the big 12 overs are about as closest to gimmies as they come!!!!!!!!!!!

Well said Irisheyez, I will let it go and move onto picking against the spread.  One final point:  You can't go by head to head if there is a 3 team tie, where all 3 teams beat each other. 

I am going to predict Florida beats OU by a TD in the title game.  A score of something like 42 to 35.

As for OU vs Missouri.  The Sooners MLB replacement is out.  They lost their team captain (MLB - R. Reynolds) in the Texas game.  They struggled until Austin Box got up to speed and now he is out with a knee.  The 3rd stringer (Balogun) is going to have a HARD TIME with Missouri.  They might even have to go with a nickel package most of the game.  I like OU to barely cover the spread, mainly due to Missouri scoring a lot of points.

Take the OVER big and OU -17 if you have the stomach to sweat out a nail biter.

Are you guys able to bet team totals?  I've been cleaning house with OU going over their team total (they have scored 60+ points the last 4 times out)--
With that said, I'm sure there will be an adjustment on their total-- Even if it is at 50 I still think OU goes over that total.  OU is probably trippin that the entire country (minus a few states) feel Texas is a better team and deserves to go to the Big 12 Championship (basing that comment on the poll ESPN put out).  Bradford said it himself they will need to win in convincing fashion again to show the country they are the most deserving from the Big 12.  I wish the game was indoors but it still should not affect things to much.
dddevin69-- I'm not sure why you get hated on-- the unfortunate part about this site is that it has become very "clickish"- if you are a newby and you throw posts out there that guarantee wins, etc. then the bitches on this site start to come out... the great part is they will hammer you if you are wrong, but if you were someone that has been posting for awhile and lost then it would be all okay and you would get a "get them next time"... unfortunately you haven't earned your stripes yet-- don't trip though pimpin... keep posting and eventually people will realize that OU has been a money maker all year  (and I'm talking overs, team total, and ATS)

WHAT TO DO WITH THIS ONE, I have chewed on this one since the line came out and just cant make up my mind..  My first thought was OU blows mizzu off the field.  Chase will throw at least one pic and that 117 ranked  mizzu passing D is a funnel to the end zone that Bradford will exploit often..  HOWEVER a couple things to think about lets say you take OU and give the 17 and somehow mizzu manages to find the endzone first now your down 24 and in a big 12 championship game that is a deeeeep hole to dig out of...  yah yah yah, I know 60 points the last 4 games and all that shit....  Also vegas knows every square in the world will thak OU in this one so i think the line favors the dog here...  Not sure wich way I will go but leaning on the dog right now...  I think whoever has the first unansered score gets the cover...  I DONT KNOW SOMEBODY GIVE ME SOMETHING!!!!

i dont agree with you.one score will not solidify a cover in either direction. rest easy i beg to differ. fast pace game here, if you have any b lls take ou in the money line. then not to worry about going down a score.

First off I said a UNMATCHED score and secondly it will be a cold day in hell when you see me take a money line play on a team favored by 17...  Wow what value risk 3500 to win a nickel thats not how I roll...

Of the 12 Big-XII championship games played thus far, the underdog has WON five of them.  Not (just) beat the spread, but won SU.  On paper, I think Oklahoma will win going away, but ...

Maybe subconsciously there is a small Giants - Longhorns connection since the Giants are rivals to the Dallas Cowboys.  I am trying to stay unbiased in this, but it is the biggest BCS argument in recent years so I did some research and tried to form an opinion instead of listening to what all of the ESPN announcers tell us we should think.  In my opinion it is comical to think that Texas is the rightful heir to play in the Big 12 championship game.  And I think it is ridiculous that Mack Brown would go on TV during OU's final game and whine about how they are getting hosed and for the Texas boosters to fly a propaganda banner around the OSU stadium that spews misinformation by only telling part of the story.  I would be embarrassed if I was a Longhorn's fan.

Though my team is the Miami Hurricanes, I'm a Texas fan and I'm far from embarrassed. They made me lots of money this year as well as in past years. It's a shame that Texas and OU are in the same division of the Big 12 because a rematch would make for a much better championship game.
 
You didn't answer my question.....Why the hate for Texas? Sounds like you're just still upset that the Horns beat OU on a neutral field back in October.

Have to agree with you.  It seems to be worse this year than that past few.  Have your say on any game but don't be looking to rip someone elses view apart.  Maybe ask that person why he or she is leaning that way but don't be ripping each other apart.

Im all about the boomer sooner but my money is on the Tigers+17. I see ou winning by 10. Its going to be on the road, at night, and in the cold.

I heard that it affects him when he takes the snap from center.  There were a couple of fumbled snaps in the OU-OSU game that were later attributed to his left thumb.  I am not sure if that is a big enough deal to sway your pick in this game, but it could be a factor.

I think there is plenty of bandwidth here to talk about handicapping and discuss some of the major issues in college football.  I am not a Longhorn hater nor an OU fan, but I disagree with Texas trying to lobby their way into the Big 12 championship while not having the resume that OU has.  That is all I have to say about that...

I didn't pay attention to your user name.  With your anti-Stoops sentiments it was an easy mistake.

Some people actually watch nationally televised football games and follow college football closely regardless of whether they are a fan of a team or not.  Not sure why there are so many Stoops haters out there.  I have never had a problem with him.  Fortunately for me, I have been fading him in the last couple of Bowl games.

You really can't go wrong with the over as OU has put up 60+ in their last 4 and should have put up 80 on Kst. If you're gonna pick a side please don't back mizzou. They are a good team but since last year when they first covered against OU they have been beat in every big game and loss ats.

It's a good squad but not on the same pg as OU right now.They're lucky they didn't play OU or TTech during the regular season this year as both could hang 70 on em. Look for somethin like 63-35 !!!  But it is college football so anything can happen BOL to all!

Alright you will read it in the Fla/bama post too. I was a little boozed up the other night.  Sorry all, but the message still stands. OU racks up points the way points get racked up in an NCAA game on the Xbox.  Mizzou's defense would be the rookie setting then.  They can't stop anyone!!! Quite frankly neither can OU which is why I don't think you play a side in this game and just play the over big and watch the scoreboard light up/blow up.
 
Just check the weather report first and make sure no rain.  Natural grass in KC and when wet may be able to slow this one down... a little at least.
 
I am a little worried about my local book jacking up my line b/c we have been CRUSHING him on overs lately as well.
