Last three seasons (current players), Marshall has covered two of three.  Last year, WVU barely escaped losing out-right at Marshall.  Remember, Marshall is in WV and this is a rivalry so Marshall is always up for this game.

Mountaineers return only four on D.  Although the new group is projected to be very good, this is their first game together, so Marshall should get a few scores.

Finally, WVU isn't a run-em-up kind of team.  Last two seasons they opened against Liberty and Coastal Carolina and won 33-20 and 31-0, respectively.  I would hope Marshall could out-play these teams.

I'll wait t see if the line gets t 24, but even if it doesn't...

THUNDERING HERD -23.5

Marshall has 5 offensive players returning including a new QB but 9 returning defensive starters (2 RB's out for game).  W. Virginia has 8 offensive returning startes and only 4 on defense.  Along with a new HC and offensive scheme. 

Seems to me Marshall will have some problems moving the ball with a new QB and 2 RB's out despite W.Virg inexperienced "D".  West Virginia should be potent on offense during the year.  Just not sure about this game with the new schemes and Marshall experienced "D" returning.

I'm taking the Under 56   LARGE.... 28-10 or 31-13 maybe?
