Hawaii has led at the half 6 times out of 7 games this year, (not counting the Charles Southern, and Northern Colorado games). While Nevada is 4-4 (not counting the NichollsState game)
Hawaii comes out the gate strong and Nevada is a little slower. Nevada has been struggling lately letting team’s hang around when they should be dominating.
I think Hawaii can actually get a run game going in this one. They showed sparks of a decent run game against FresnoState last week. Nevada is ranked 106th in rush defense and Hawaii could exploit this to their advantage.
As BigD stated Graunke is a very capable QB that can lead this team. He went 9 of 11 for 246yrds and 3 td's in the UtahState game.
Kaepernick has been playing great lately but he has not faced a blitzing defense like this. I think Hawaii will frustrate him and cause turnovers. I think Hawaii covers here and shows the voters that they are for real.
BigD what do you think about Hawaii at -3.5 for the first half and -6 for the game my friend. I want to pull the trigger as soon as possible because with the news of colt ready to go the line will move back up bro.
Bruddah Oak...like you, waiting on BigD's "final answer". He did reply earlier that a -3 or -4 would be a good first half line for Hawaii but, I think the weather is gonna be a factor for the local boyz....70 degree weather is perfect...60 degrees already getting the local thermals (sweat pants)...50 degrees and our balls are turning blue! BigD is waiting on the weather situation. I'm leaning Hawaii at the half but, Nevada on the game....it'll only get colder as the game progresses and freezing (Hawaii standards) once they come out of the half. The game line dropped but, not the half time line....hmmmmmmm.

I like Nevada here........Hawaii is a fun team to watch.....but thier opponents record is barely over .250.......WOW!!!!! How good are they??? I know they can throw it around better than about anyone......but if Colt isn't healthy, they play on the road, & Nevada can also score a lot.........I say take teh points and the over.......

Nah but, i think Nevada going come out and try to control the clock with luke lippincott. Cause it would be wise not to get in a shootout with hawaii. but if hawaii stops that running game they get mo' betta chance. and malcolm lane, he's pretty dangerous. H e can give hawaii good field position. watch out! GO WARRIORS! MY LEAN IS ON HAWAII...BUT GL TO WHO EVA' U PICK!

I have bet against Hawaii in the past and they have smoked me. The only game I won with them was the Fresno game line. I went to bed at halftime with Hawaii up a ton, but when I woke up it was 37-30 because of Colt being out. They only scored a field goal. If there is even a slight chance of him being out I will stay the hell away. Thier gameplan without him changes dramaticly. Probably going to play b-ball lines tonight if my fiance' doesn't drag me somewhere! By the way congrats to the Arizona backers and the UNT/ARKST unders.

I don't post on here very often, but I tend to get feelings on games every so often. When I do I usually win I'd guess 80% of the time.
This is one of those games.
Take Nevada @ Home plus the points. If it's 6 I'll but it up to 7 just to be safe.
Hawaii is night and day when it comes to playing on the road or at home.
Nevada has kind of flown under the radar all year after opening up 0-2. Those 2 loses were on the road @ Nebraska and @ Northwestern.
I'll probably throw 3 hundo on Nevada tonight. I feel very confident about this game.
The game I'm very unsure about is the Eastern/Central Michigan game?? I'll have to put at least a little something on it, or watching it will be completely boring.... Any thoughts on that game??

Hey whats going on guys...Im leaning toward Navada +7 here...Hawaii always seems to be over-rated with their shitty schedule...Other than Brennon whats the deal with the injury report for Hawaii??? BigDaddy isnt Hawaii ur team???hit me up with some insight

My lean is also on Hawaii at the half -3.5. Line came down a full point once Dixon went down to injury. I sure hope Hawaii can maintain better than the Ducks did when their star hit the dirt. Boy, talk about a team crumbling... but as long as the Warriors don't have a backup QB named Leaf (as in "make like a LEAF and BLOW") they should be ok. This would be my first bet on Hawaii this year, as usually the lines have been way too high for me.
I'm also considering the Under here -- currently under 78.5 for me though I have seen it at 80. Anyone else? Hawaii games have only hit 78 twice this year, and one was an OT game. Same with Nevada -- hit 78 2x, once in OT. The two teams together have only hit 78 once in the past 7 meetings, in 2002. Also if there are any ramifications with Colt's injury, that would play to the under also.

I love the under here too...35degrees at gametime...the island boys hate cold weather and one clean lick and Colt will be a spectator ...Im leaning toward a HUGE play on the under here...

Hawaii first half and then I'll leave through the side door. Simply put Hawaii is a better first half team than Nevada, and I'm not sold on Nevada's defense after watching New Mexico State move the ball at will against them. Hawaii's defense is more opportunistic, and also more likely to get a stop when they really need one. Taking Hawaii for the 1st half whether Brennan plays or not

I've been looking at both team's conference opponents and came to a conclusion. UH had beaten & covered the spread whereas Nevada won, but ats losses.
I'm pretty sure UH have done their homework, watching game films, mimicking the running for the defense. As for the offense, June Jones said before, "our offense is designed to score from anywhere on the field".

hawaii will win this game more den 7 pts, i know how good that nevada qb is, but he haven't play a defense like hawaii defense, look for hawaii to blitz him alot make him don't feel comfortable in the pocket. i predict he will throw atleast two INT.

i dunno but i know if hawaii gets on the lead they are gonna keep on going unlike arizona last night (but they didnt have too since leaf was in) i know for sure june jones is gonna run up this score if he can and i really believe he will. Hawaii will score at will on nevada if colt plays...san jose st was a sloppy field and raining...hawaii coulda blew that one up..nevada is decent..they been hanging tough with BAD TEAMS (they caught boise off guard) but i think hawaii puts up 50-60 tonight and nevada to put up at least 20-30s the total is set high for a reason...it is probably the highest of the season at 79..ill bite on the over since under looks way too good.

For those of you who like Nevada. Be aware of their defense. They have given up big plays over the middle where Hawaii's slot's are the most dangerous. I can imagine Colt or Tyler having a field day against a weak Nevada secondary. After going vertical on the nevada's secondary. They'll change up their schemes to help out with with pass and in come Wright-Jackson and Libre to have a field day on the GROUND. Yes, i said it. Hawaii will finally have a 160+ Yds rushing day! Those 2 backs are very capable of breaking big plays.
Also, whether or not colt does play. Tyler Graunke is a very very good quarterback. Granted his numbers aren't the best. He has made a few bad decisions in against earlier teams leading him to throw some picks but he's a gamer. He also knows how to win. This Warrior team has the chemistry to win no matter who's in a quarterback. We all want Colt to play but i know for a fact that Hawaii has all the faith in Graunke. I say Hawaii by 10-13 in this contest.
