Needing some help from teams ahead of them in the rankings, the Warriors can't afford to be looking ahead to their meeting with nationally-ranked Boise State next week at home, although no one could fault them for such thinking. As long as Colt Brennan is able to get back under center and forget about the vicious hit he took last week, Hawaii should be in line for another big victory.
Sports Network Predicted Outcome: Hawaii 51, Nevada 35

What Will Happen: This will be a big-time shootout with Nevada playing well at home no matter what Brennan’s status. The Warriors will pull it out late with its (gasp) defense coming up with a strong late stand. CFN Prediction: Hawaii 41 … Nevada 35 ... Line: Hawaii -6

The weather could also work in Nevada's favor, with the game-time temperature expected to be in the upper 40s.
But don't try to tell that to Brennan, who prepped at Irvine, Cal., before moving to the islands.
"Everyone talks about the conditions. I think everyone on our team is tired of hearing about it," Brennan said.
"When you get out there on the football field, you're running around. Your body temperature rises up. I love playing in the cold. I played some my best football in the cold," he added. "So I'm dying to get out there Friday because I really want to play because I think I can have a really good day."

I was prepared to take the front at 4.5 - 5 the way they been juicing it to me over here and it took me by surprise when I got those numbers.
IMHO this could be a close game so I took for granted maybe this one goes into OT like a couple of the other UH road games. The last one who scores win as usual in College OT.
3.5 in the front sounds real juicy to take and If you are taking Hawaii to win the 6.5 on the final also looks good. Less than a TD in a Hawaii game always looks good to me this season cause we never had a single digit spread this season until now.
I'm ready to lay the hammer on this play but still wondering what in the hell am I missing for the house to keep the lines this way.
Back up QB for Hawaii not that bad
Defense not that bad
Hawaii should be fired up in this game to prove their ranking
Are the oddsmakers stating that this is the game Hawaii needs to win to finally move from the 16th ranking position
Odds makers thinking UH is looking ahead at Boise St
I'm busy at work but will be back. Just wish I brought my stats with me to look at.
I think the books are just keeping this one tight because all the upsets are fresh in their minds......this almost seems like a no brainer for the halftime bet

I'm on a losing streak, so I'm staying away. The last 7 games between these two have been won by the home team. Hawaii needs this game, but I think Nevada is going to fight with everything they have to play spoiler. Just my opinion. Hope ya'll make the right pick.

Also, flying east and losing several hours due to time zone changes is hell on the body and takes days to recover. I know because I've done it several times.

hmmmmmmmm Hawaii paying 95 cents on the dollar while Nev is only paying 87 to dollar, public high on Nev but still keeping Haw as fav, fishy fishy, and btw Congrads to all the Zona and Under winners, with the home dog and under espn game, know Oregon should have routed zona, but wonder if the trend thing has karma on the field, seems if looking for value, ya take Haw and the bigger payoff, but makes ya wonder if they wonder about climate change more so then anything, the old denver mile high theory, agree with BigDaddy, something is just amiss here, cant lay finger on it, but it is there for sure hmmmmmmm

The only concerns that I have about Hawaii is how Colt Brennan is feeling in his head. And if he does play, will he have his confidence or will he second guess himself and worry more about getting hit again and start throwing picks. Another thing is that the temperature for tonights game will be in the mid to low30's.......Damn I live in Southern Nevada and I freeze my a$$ off when it gets that cold here......Unless they have been practicing in a freezer in hawaii it will be interesting to see how they respond to the near freezing temp.....
Anyways I put in my wager yesterday and got :
WARRIORS -6 for the game and
UNDER 79.5
Good Luck 2 All......

Did the same BigDaddy don't know a lot about the WAC being east coast guy but hoping that the backup plays well would think Brennan can't play with the head injury. What I've read here Nevada QB pretty good haven't seen him myself. GO JUNE RUN IT UP Revenge for many losses in Nevada Hawaii Half -3.5 Hawaii game -6
little nervous they didn't jack your line
