just addin a little something to the discussion and tryin to find even more reasons why I like florida -3 in this one, but here is what I found about this topic
Heisman winners are a combined 2-9 in bowl games involving No. 1 vs. No. 2.
In bowl games between No. 1 vs. No. 2 in The Associated Press poll, Heisman winners are 2-7.
In national title games involving teams ranked 1-2 in the BCS standings, Heisman winners are 0-2.
All told, Heisman winners have won 22 bowl games and lost 26. They have lost three straight and six of the last eight.

Right now I'm leaning toward OU. Here's a few thoughts:
The football world looks pretty flat this year. Each conference has had good and bad moments. There's no discernable trend to this point, especially for those banging the SEC.
The Sooners began running a hurry up offense this season that typically leaves teams scrambling. Florida likes to rotate their defenders - especially the D line - quite a bit during an offensive series. That won't be able to happen with regularity against OU.
Bradford has attempted 476 passes this season but has only been sacked 11 times. That's insane. And this year's Gator team is not known for its pass rush.
Bradford is deadly accurate: 48 touchdowns and 6 picks. Florida has the No. 2 pass efficiency defense. But that might be affected by their DBs not being able to line up properly when facing a hurry up offense. Something has to give.
OU scored more points than the 1994 Penn St. team and the 2003 USC team. That shouldn't be ignored.
Oklahoma DT Gerald McCoy, who has 6.5 sacks this season, is the best interior pass rusher in the country. Getting heat on Tebow with four rushers is key.
OU will play Cover 2 and Cover 3 zone, which Tebow rarely faces in the SEC. SEC schools play lots of man to man. That should help defenders get to Tebow quicker when he tucks the ball to run.

After giving this all of my resources the smart play here is Oklahoma +4.5. Florida and the SEC has benefited from us watching them play Ohio St. the past two years.
Oklahoma is the real deal as well as Florida, they will make this a close and exciting game. For my money, I think I will make a small play on OK ML and a play on OK +4.5. Nothing too big, these teams are very well matched.
SEC and Big 12 were overhyped this year, but I think the BCS got it mostly right picking these two, with USC being the only other team I can see claiming foul here. Texas simply wasn't as dominant, and the red river rivalry is a quasi home game for them in Dallas every year, where they beat Oklahoma on one bad quarter by OK.

When I look at this game I see the following:

- An OK team that has been playing some sweet offense of late.
- But I also see that Bradford has had some work done with the Dr's knife on his left hand.
- Then I saw where OK has been bad-mouthing Tebow saying that he (Tebow) would not do so well in the Big-12.
- I like the FLA punt-game edge; and I like the recent play of the Gators defense.

Big 12 is a joke. Mizzou should have lost to a crappy Northwestern team. Texas Tech got rolled. Okla st lost. Texas eeked by a Ohio st team that couldnt wear Floridas jock. Big 12 Defenses suck plain and simple, and they rack up those wonderful offenseive stats playing joke defenses with spread offense. Florida gets it done.

Texas Tech put up more points on Ole Miss than Florida did.

I'm looking at Florida -5 1/2 right now or the Oklahoma money line.
Pretty damn hard to bet against Florida in this game knowing Bob Stoops history in the big game and chances are I will roll with Florida. Florida to fast and Tebow is a big X-Factor. Florida special teams are far better as well and Oklahomas best RB is out.
I like the over but the thing I am worried about is Floridas defense stepping it up and holding Oklahome to like 24 points, while Florida scores 40-43. I can see something like that possibly happening.
I wonder which conference is officiating though?

BRANDON LANG?? lol buddy let me tell u something about ol movie star lang. last year at work i would watch his video post about the game and i got tricked into buying probably 4 picks and went 0-4 all where top rated plays. 
SAVE YOUR MONEYon brandon lang, now there are some great cappers that release picks but u have to find them on your own, collect your information from here and go with your gut.

liking florida here. first, unlike some of the other dogs(utah& osu) , the line is actually moving as more people bet on florida.
secondly, special teams will be huge in this game. look for florida to break some big kick/punt returns as ou has terrible kick coverage.
i see this game being a game where ou can't stop florida, but florida stops ou just enough to get a double digit win.

As BigD said the speed of the Florida d could be a factor by trying to make the big play a little too often. As a result we could see some gratuitious points
Im a little uneasy about the spread so im stayin away from that but i do see a shootout brewin
With the public animosity between these guys I see both sides amped up and prone to mistakes. Its over 35 for me for the first half and 69.5 for the game. GLA
