I just think this game will be owned by the fla defense. they are an extremely fast athletic group. they are also playing as a cohesive unit wwhen it matters. on the offensive side i think floridas o line dominates the trenches and lets tebow and boys run all over the place. in turn this is gonna open up the passing game on a mediocre oklahoma secondary. FLA medium play

FL will manhandle OU. Bradford will get a good taste of the FL D all night long...they are the real deal. FLs OL will wear out OUs DL by the 3rd Qtr and then it will be all down hill. I watch SEC all year and they have fallen off a bit but are still the best thing going from top to bottom. FL -3 large. Under small due to everyone and their mother taking over. Best of luck to all.

I can't believe it myself that the season is almost over and it seems like it just started. After the seasons done it will be another 8 months or so until I get back on here.

I basically like the over in this one being that both teams are out to prove who's better. The smack talk has already begun with both teams and I have a feeling this will be a good old shootout.

The OU defense had problems against Texas with Colt's mobility and see them having bigger problems with Tebow's mobility in this one. If OU does stop the running game Florida has a lot of weapons running down the sidelines.
Okalahoma has been just blowing away their opponents as of late. Although it seems as though OU has played weaker defenses being from the Big 12 I feel they can find ways to score against this Florida defense. I always worry about a good fast defense it seems as though they always get burned for big plays at least a handful of times in games.
That's basically why I'm leaning on the over.

I was surprised to see you not taking a side on this one as it looks verey compelling from my anlysis. I thried to save you on last year's Sugar Bowl in the UGA/Hawaii game. This one will not be that one-sided, Florida will use their starters until the last few minutes. My New Year's gift to you would be to ask you relook this one. Bet Florida BIGGGG, and end the year with a comfortable victory.
No SEC team has EVER lost a BCS finale, and this one has mismatch all over it. At first I thought this would be a 4-7 point game for UF, and that would make that a one play, small bet for me. Now I think it is a 2-3 TD game and a Ten unit play for me. My view switched when Oklahoma lost Murray as a RB and a DT, and Bradford had surgery on his hand. Then came the bowl matchups with the Big 12. What made OU look competitive was the media halo over the Big 12 as they played each other. Facing no defenses they looked powerful enough to outscore, or hang with anyone, despite having weak defenses.
In the bowls, Oklahoma State goes down to an Oregon team that lost at home to Boise State, Texas Tech gets drilled by Old Miss, Mizzou has to go to overtime to beat Northwestern, These were OU's best wins unless you count Cincy who should have lost to Hawaii. Now their one loss, Texas struggled and was fortunate to win in the last seconds to Ohio State who not only lost to every decent team it played this year, they haven't beaten a quality opponent in three years. In other words, OU has a lot of sizzle by runningup the score against weak defenses, but there is no proof they can prevail against a solid defense like Florida has.
Now add the problems OU will have stopping the balance of a UF attack that can beat you with the pass, the run, or through Special Teams. Harvin is healthy, and Tebow is motivated to prove he should have won the Heisman. It was Big 12 country where he was left totally off their ballots. This guy is a warrior, and he doesn't lose focus or hang out late at night. The last BCS game Florida won was with Leak as the QB, so he wants one of his own.
The reason I am not sure about the over is if UF gets a lead early, they may try to slow the game down to keep the OU offense off the field. I also feel Meyer thinks he can out physical Oklahoma and wants to wear them down. Just thinking he would rather drive it methodically and not resort to hurry up offense. With the new clock rules it is easy to limit the number of possessions the other team gets. Turnovers and STs could make the score inflate though. I feel the over and the under are riskier bets than taking UF. Whatever you decide, good luck and have a great Spring and Summer. I am playing with house money and am letting all my winnings ride on this one. Florida----big.

I have waited the whole bowl season before betting this game and damn I wish I had bet it earlier when Florida was only giving 2 1/2!!
The Big 12 is overrated and has NO defense. Anyone see how Ole Miss had their way against TT?? Yes, Ole Miss has the same style as most of the Big 12-all offense and lets outscore the other guys. Then I watched OSU give Texas all they could handle and Texas beat OU??!!! Sure Kansas handled Minn easily as expected but the SEC stepped it up in '09 with the exception of lowly SC and ALA sleep walking through the first quarter. Florida is MUCH better than OU on defense and this will show early and often. Bradford will get harrassed and will have interceptions. UF will play control, unless OU can't tackle Harvin.

over OhioSt, but they BARELY beat them. The SEC is having a down year as well,

Seeing the line up to 4 I have learned that whenever a player is hurt (such as last week with Thomlinson ) the team that is at a disadvatage seems to usually pull it out spreadwise...(I can exemplify the night I went into the sportsbook at midnight before the Seahawks/pats game and the spread shot up bigtime with the FEAR of Hasselbeck not playing....the pats won that but didnt cover the 8 it went off at game time from 4 a few days earlier) ....so I guess you all have your minds made up who the best team is but just wanted to let you know what I have seen....Chargers didnt need thomlinson...Seattle didnt buckle without Hasselbeck...and I dont think Oaklahoma is going to lose just because one runner is out....the may lose as a team but not solely for his absence....so I will watch the public keep that number rising out of fear...tisk tisk..never bet on emotion!

Seeing the line up to 4 I have learned that whenever a player is hurt (such as last week with Thomlinson ) the team that is at a disadvatage seems to usually pull it out spreadwise...(I can exemplify the night I went into the sportsbook at midnight before the Seahawks/pats game and the spread shot up bigtime with the FEAR of Hasselbeck not playing....the pats won that but didnt cover the 8 it went off at game time from 4 a few days earlier) ....so I guess you all have your minds made up who the best team is but just wanted to let you know what I have seen....Chargers didnt need thomlinson...Seattle didnt buckle without Hasselbeck...and I dont think Oaklahoma is going to lose just because one runner is out....the may lose as a team but not solely for his absence....so I will watch the public keep that number rising out of fear...tisk tisk..never bet on emotion!
