It's already tough enough keeping a team focused when they go to Hawaii, but I feel like it'll be even tougher for the BS interim coach to do so.  Also, the Beavers passing O is 3rd vs. Broncos 93rd passing D so there's your mismatch right there.  I'd feel a lot better about taking the Beavers had they not lost their last 6, but early lean Oregon St.  Good luck.

Oregon State lost 6 in row including their super bowl against Oregon, close game.  This is more of a vacation for them than Boise State.  Oregon can't run the ball one sided.  Probably close game with Boise for the win.

Southwick (starting QB) suspended for game and sent home, Patti (3rd string QB) suspended and reinstated for the game.  Line has to move in OSU's favor.

Southwick wasn't going to play anyway. He's been out for weeks and the back up has played as well or better. I was all over Boise +3 in a bowl game. But now there's internal team strife going on over who peed off the balcony. Southwick even took a lie detector test to prove ti wasn't him. But you have players tattling on each other and taking sides. Not good a day before a game IN HAWAII with a fill in coach. Still leaning towards Boise and U65. Hey lookee there. Ohio just tied Ecar.  lol

What about BSU and their 36th ranked scoring defense? And their 43rd ranked Redzone defense? And OSU's 67th ranked 3rd down completion %? Really, the mismatch is that BSU is taking step up in competition compared to their regular season schedule. I like BSU at this point also, but that swiss cheese OSU defense might not be able to stop the balanced attack of BSU, so OSU will need the ball to win. Good luck.

Oregon st. -3.  Yea they lost to Stanford, USC, Asu, Washington and Oregon. All better teams.The beavers and Boise have been to hawaii many times, nothing new.. Cooks  will beast it up.Going with my gut. Beavers

1) Relax...whether or not this is a "grown up " site means nothing. U remind me of a life long loser on this "site" named 'omb1' who lives for this "site" & has a self righteous attitude that he is protecting something about the "integrity" of making picks on games for free...anyways,, enough of jobless losers who have know nothing but this "site"...

2) after using 36 exclamation points in you reponse to 'Nhenley' & then ending your rant with "take it easy" makes u look like the above mentioned...weak.

This is going to be a good game. May lay off just to enjoy it with Family on Christmas Eve but that won't stop me from playing haha.

My family and friends have my love and attention 364  days of the year

But December 24th is all about betting on the Hawaii Bowl

So yes everyone else has memories of exchanging gifts or whatever, but our  memories of a near empty stadiums each year, Colt Brennan's 559 yard performance or the Brawl between Houston and Hawaii are what the holidays are all about

Let's all thank the organizers of this bowl game, for giving us all an excuse to avoid our In-Laws

Crunch the numbers and this game is a toss-up. May come down to turnovers. Boise may just run all over OSU and their poor run defense. Taking Boise but treading lightly.
