Bama took V.T., Arkansas ,and Kentucky down with an offense rated 14 and defense 2. Miss. is rated 60 / 17 with the best team they played was S Carolina and lost 10 to 16. Going with the TIDE -6 1/2.

Bama impresses me more and more each week. Hard to bet against them here. They give passing offenses fits. They gave the high flying arkansas team so much trouble. Ole Miss will have to keep it on the ground.

While I think Ole Miss can win outright, I don't think they'll lose by more than 2 touch downs if they do lose. Waiting for the line to go up, or teasing this one

Bama is way too talented for Old Miss this year. Look at Alabama as a much better defense than SC, and a much, much better offense than SC had. Tide rolls this weekend, and it shouldn't be close. Could be a large play after further study. Someone tell me what I am missing here, it looks suspiciously too easy. Not one to decline a nice gift, I am going to make a medium play now before this line moves then study it more.

several years. Ole Miss and Bama are both replacing 3 O Linemen this
year, but the difference is, Bama has better depth and their
replacement players are much, much better than Ole Miss's. Huge dropoff
at LT for Ole Miss going from Michael Oher to Bradley Sowell.
Meanwhile, Carpenter who is Andre Smith's replacement, was a 5 star
All-American JUCO player who already had 2 years experience at that
position. Carpenter is no Andre Smith but he is not nearly as big of a
dropoff as Bradley Sowell is.
Snead may have the hype and he may be a better NFL scout, but right now, Greg McElroy is WAY WAY outplaying Snead.
Most
importantly, Bama is better in every major statistical category than
Ole Miss and Bama has played overall better competition. Ole Miss's
stats come against a HORRIBLE Memphis team, a 1-AA school, and a
horrible Vandy team. Bama has played a top 10 team and an Arkansas that
can put up some major points. And Kentucky is better than Vandy and
Memphis.

Ole Miss was simply a victim of being a Thursday night favorite a few weeks ago. They're a better team than that. Are they overrated? Maybe, but I think they cover this one.
