I feel like I am reading the back to the future almanac.  But, what about injuries?  Does it acct for the Mizzou qb situation?

Guys I want to tell you that what VG is doing is Great for all of us, but you guys have to realize that no system 12 perfect therefore we would have to cap the games realizing that the system does have flaws and that it does not take injuries, weather, etc. into calculations. Come on quit being lazy and make some money. Good luck to all and thanks VG and Roughshod to helping us become better cappers.

vgpop, can you explain how you use RPI in basketball handicapping?

i've been surfing the internet like crazy and can't seem to find a way to do it. would be so much, much appreciated.

and would you mind telling me where you find the "opponent's opponent's win pct"

People ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS need to handicap games they want to play.

If you are betting this system or any other system blindly without even knowing anything about teams in hand, then you are gambling your money.

If you lose based on this, don't come to this thread crying about it.

I am not saying you, Texasfan.

I am saying to ALL PEOPLE that do this.

(Systems are guide to the handicapper, not a free ticket to paradise)

VG - were you saying last week that the system is better at capping NFL than college?  Is that because the NFL lines are usually very tight?

Like VG said, this is just one tool in the handicapping toolbox....you have to cap the other aspects of the game too. I sense there will be many who will bet big on particular games based on these ratings alone only to come back crying and blaming it on the method...
