Why is UNLV only a -2.5 over San Jose St?

I thought the line would be something like UNLV -6 or -7.. am I missing something?

you have to look at more than just records when comparing these teams. please tell me you do this. JOse played USC, orgeon state and Toledo in the non-conference and has a brutal murderers row schedule early...they have won 5 in a row in league play and are the hottest team in the MWC right now...not saying they win but simply looking at record is not a winning way to do it.
