What would you do??

My buddy called me and wants to bet 1000 on the name vs indiana game straight up even money. He wants bama so of course I'm going to take it. What would you guys do? I don't usually bet that big so trying to figure out the best way to do it. 

1. Take the bet straight since I'm at an advantage

2. Put 500 on Alabama money line to break even if bama wins

3. Put another 1000 on bama +6.5 and hope Indiana wins by less then 7 to hit both.

I couldn't think of any other way to play it so help me out lol

Take the bet don’t blink or get greedy. Bama isn’t in the same league as Indiana, they are gonna get smoked. 

You are getting the best team in the country even money. First of all ensure your buddy is good for it, then ask him if he's sure that he doesn't want more :)

 Obviously, his buddy is new to gambling and does not know any bookie. Would you get upset if you just start gambling and your buddy does that to you rather than tell you the real odds?

Id lock my bet and give my friend the correct odds.

First, make sure your friend is good for the money.

Then put 650 on the ML.  Sit back and collect $350+ regardless who wins.

Pull for Alabama to win that way you both can collect $$$.

Has your buddy never bet before? If not then explain it to him. If he's bet before and just wants the action then sure, take it and bet Bama with the points for a freeoll, or just book the bet  yourself.

 We have bet plenty of times. Mostly on bama games since he's a fan and his words are I don't care about no odds I like bama. injuat don't usually bet that big so trying to figure out the best way to do this. Initially I said $250 which is what we usually do but he wants to do 1000

Well there you go. He doesn't care about odds so just bet the 1k on Bama +7.5 and you got a freeroll. Don't over complicate it and do 5 different things to try and make more money on it. 

  He can't be too much of a buddy if you have to present this dilemma on here. Otherwise this is a BS thread.

 Im not convinced. Watch an hour of IU highlights yesterday. Qb1 Mendoza didnt play well in the bigger games. Bama, on the other hand, is getting healthy. Deboer has an absurd record vs top ten teams, like 19-3 or something. Put my right nut on +7.
