Appreciate it. Not sure what's going on...raked in about 70u (with 1u plays) between CFB, CBB, and MLB over the past year, then hit a snag once this season started. Got in a big hole the first week, climbed out of it, then backtracked the last two weeks. Weird month for me.

I grabbed Rutgers @ 7 for 5 units. Its really just that I have this man-crush on Pitt this year. Or else it wouldve been 10 units. Pitt is going to fucking rake in their bowl. They are a horrendous matchup for most teams, just not Rutgers. Rutgers is the rare team that defends the spread well and still stops the run.

RJ, on a more serious not, what do think of the O/U of 53 in the Pitt game? I just don't see it getting past 48 let alone 53. Rutgers may start their true freshman at QB and their D is pretty solid, looking at a 27-20 Pitt victory, thoughts?

Huge dissapointment to see that the FSU/Wake line dropped to 10...Loved Wake in an early game here. Been actually impressed with them...
Heels/Ville looks like a no-touch from both sides. Ville backers can say that UNC's defense has really failed to live up to expectations. They are allowing a lot of yards, way too many yards by teams that should not be gaining that kind of ground Heels have also lacked killer instinct. Heels can easily get up on you, but just seem to let teams linger. (Rutgers, Virginia, ECU) Thats said, its a great opp for the defense to shine and step up vs a squad like Ville. Too many questions here...
ECU looks like a solid play on the road vs Houston. Shootout. If ECU can put glue on their hands and take care of the ball, I could see a possible upset here...Joey pubs gonna love Houston the "offense" at home vs struggling ECU. I think people are quick to forget that ECUs losses have been vs SC, VT and UNC...That's a rough schedule. Not to mention, they were competitive in all 3 of those (VT game, first half SC, second half UNC)
Maryland/GT. Does Maryland deserve to be a 14 pt dog? Isnt this a team that can score on GTs defense? I mean State was able to down the stretch, I just cant see a DD victory by GT here. Add in GT backers still reeling over their push last week and wanting their victory back, I see value with Maryland. That homecrowd is a non-factor as well. Take 3 points off the line right there. It's like an exchange student math party up in there. No atmosphere, just Lu Xe Sing and friends worried about their Nanorobotics exam on Monday...

OTR - it's usually Mets, Jets, Islanders. Yanks, Giants and Rangers. But there are very few real sports fans in NY like there are in other parts of the country.

I'm beginning to believe this as well. The defending champs have been a consistent overachiever this year. Arkansas and Bobby Petrino are the types that would love to remind Auburn that it's not 2010 anymore.

Good thread/excellent read as usual Sizzle. I do however like Iowa. Pretty sure this game is a pk, and Penn St opened at -2.5 for hfa. I have watched a couple PSU games and really dont think they have the offense to compete with another decent/well coached team. I dont believe in traps/sharps/squares. I rely on my own eye test and experience. This line is dead on and people are sleeping on the Hawkeyes (mainly because they lost to Pitt, or they would be much more on the radar)....

Doesn't change the fact that only the biggest suckers lines all week are on those squads.
I think the lines are both great. The thing is that I have learned myself quite a bit about lines like this. It's sort of my specialty.
I get the whole "line looks too good" theory, but the line moving from -2.5 to 4 is not what I expected. People are still fading Iowa.....AF isnt a suckers line imo. They usually don't commit a ton of turnovers and play sound defense. ND will get money no matter what the line, thats why they opened it up just shy of 17.....
