Really?
I cant beleive they are preseason ranked 6th in the nation?
If thats not a clear indication that theses rankings are a complete joke, Then I dont know what is.
Defense, Yeah pretty danm good, Offense reeks.
To beat Oklahoma or to have a shot at beating them, FSU coaches will have to coward up and shorten the game.
What that means is run run run and play defense and hope to be within a td or less with 2 or 3 minutes to go then try to steal a win.
The only play of this game will be the UNDER, and hopefully there will be no injuries for eaither team by week 3, and hopefully Both teams will pound there foes 1st two weeks and put up crazie numbers so the total will be over inflated.

I'll take the Noles +180ish at home all day. OU lost a lot and this will be the year they drop back in with the herd. ![]()

Lost a lot? Are you kidding me??......hell most of the team that could have gone pro decided to stay....DeMarco Murray scored more TDs in his career than any other OU back and he was the weak link. Sooners will be more explosive than last year and that's saying a lot. And do not underestimate Landry Jones. He's not Bradford but who is? Landry Jones will put up Heisman type numbers this year....He won't win the Heisman but don't count him out of a trip to NY. Sooners are loaded....
Only weak link on this team is Stoops and Sooners will win in spite of him.

I hope you're right, but I'll believe it when I see it. Stoops and his coordinators inability to get the job done has really cost us in a big way over the years. Venables has been a joke from the start, he couldn't coach defense to save his life, and offensively we're always too predictable. At least now we might have better offensive playcalling from Heupel, but we never live up to the hype on defense because we're poorly coached. No matter how great our talent is, we still give up way too much yardage and way too many points, something that we didn't do when Mike Stoops was here. And it's not the players fault because they're just doing what they're told and they're playing the way they were taught. Venables is just not a good D coordinator. There's a reason why he hasn't gotten a head coaching job and probably won't for a long time. Basically, we've got the players as usual, but we don't have the killer instinct coaching that it takes to win it all. We'll go 12-2, which is pretty damn good by most programs standards, but for us it absolutely SUCKS. I guarantee we'll lose two games this year because of bad coaching. Anybody wanna take that bet?
