You know, that TN line looks a little shady, they must think TN is going to treat this like thier Super Bowl. I would have at least thought 7 as high as 9.

that defense is a few weeks away from vast improvement, won’t ever be great as fast as O plays but trust me, those playoff teams don’t want OU in, if Lincoln wasn’t a rookie coach last year we have a different story all around, he panicked that 2nd half but it was obvious OU had the speed & scheme to go with the other big boys, OU would be a dangerous playoff team to everyone, ask Nick if he wants to face OU or ND, he may not answer but you know who he prefers facing

Thanks a lot for the help. Yeah, I'm pounding the Sooners. I think Okie State is horrible.
Last question from me for the week if you have a free minute....How about Iowa State? Baylor off their big win of the year (for them anyway) and now travelling to a really tough place to play. I see a woodshed game here.

Baylor is a work in progress from outside looking in, I stopped my involvement with them so haven’t seen near as much of their games nor do I talk to anyone about current team, from Bay to Tom Herm
Iowa St not a blow you out kind of team but I’d consider them or nothing here just because you know going in Baylor won’t win unless tragedy struck the Qb or something , Iowa St prob best in teaser to single digits simply because counting on them to cover over 14.5 could be risky
I think they win by 17ish if I were guessing, just prefer teaser if you use them
I’m sure that reads like a scrambled hot mess, welcome to my brain

if you look from value aspect though, OU was favored by 23-24 over Baylor & won by 33 off top of my head
should be similar outcome as okie st maybe slightly better than Baylor if any

an example of a “bad spot” would be
Purdue beating Ohio St by 30 as a 13 point underdog in a huge night game with all the attention on them, only to be congratulated all week on campus, hit the road & play a pissed off mich st team (& lose)
It’s hard for college aged kids to get up emotionally every week when you involve classes, travel, etc etc
another example of a “bad spot” would be
Memphis blowing a huge lead over an undefeated UCF team that was basically their super bowl only to then go on the road to face a pissed off mizzou team that had 3 losses in a row & was in desperate need of a win, mizzou won by a metric ton & paid me

Hey WahooS,
Here's a question....
Last week you were all over Clemson / L'Ville predicting that Clemson would layeth the smacketh down and cover the 40 point spread.
This week, we see Michigan favored by essentially the same 40 points against Rutgers. Way different styles and that's reflected in a much lower O/U.
The game is similar in that both Clemson & Michigan want to make a statement to the committee that they are a stud team. Clemson made that statement, presumably Michigan would want to do similar.
Is the question...is making a "statement to the committee" the key to the #4/#5 Michigan's season? Will Michigan play outside of their comfort zone to put a whoopin on to make that statement?
I dont know if Im saying all this right...I like Michigan to absolutely stomp a bad Rutgers team & they have the D to pitch a shut out, but I could just as easily see them winning 31-0 as 63-0....thus the question, do they need to "make a statement"?
