What about your Wahoos this year? I think they will be pretty bad. But I do like the direction with the new staff.

 
UVA couldn't beat alot of high schools around the country, they will be very poor, hopefully they improve as the season goes but to think they will ever be a factor in conference is crazy

I'm starting to like your team as a conference sleeper, nobody is really talking about them this year since they lost Spiller, sometimes that is the best way

Give you a little hint: 1)Our D-line is among the best in the country. 2) The Secondary is very very solid. 3) We have a PROVEN QB 4) A stable of good running backs. 5) This is the biggest, The OL is very experienced and very deep.

Problems: 1)Look at the schedule  we play 5 preseason top 25... One one of a hand full of teams that do that. Very tough Road Games. 2) Field Position.... Last year we started very drive it seemed at the 40 or better ( C.J and jacoby ) now the Offense must establish more longer drives.

I do like us repeating as conference champs.

Repeating as division champs - let's not get ahead of ourselves.  But I do have a couple nice future wagers on Clemson +800 and +1200 to win the ACC.

Division Champs is what I Meant    I was in Tampa when we had our chance...  It was a great game tho..

I am just starting to analyse the week 1 matchups, but two games that immediately caught my attention were Tejas and Northwestern.  I will definitely be on those two games with you for sure.

Most people on this board don't seem to agree with me, but I love Virginia Tech getting points against Boise.  I'm very bullish on the Hokies this season, and I think they'll beat BS rather comfortably.

RedRockets is all good Train, he doesn't upset me at all, I like his feedback, but you always got my back, haha

as far as the Texas/Rice game goes, here is my take:

Texas always throttles Rice, the Owls finished the season like 2-10 last year with their last game being a 59 point loss to hated rival Houston (think it was 73-14 ?  not for certain), anyhow, Gilbert is a nice QB and I don't think the offense really misses a beat this year.  Add in the fact that the Texas defense is just flat out nasty and we should have ourselves another annual beating

the NW/Vandy game would be Nw -7 if it were played at the Cats stadium, I hit the line under 3 (of course) and feel great about it, I see a 27-10 type of game with Northwestern really controlling things, Vanderbilt is going to suck, nothing else to say

some lines always look strange in the Week 1 because they seem "almost too good" if you will, but I just bet what I see and let the results fall into place, I'm not a "public percentages" guy, never really have been

I like my Texas play with the early line and I like NW just as much, I honestly think both games will win and would be surprised if they didn't, Clemson is the least favorite of my first 3 plays and I still like the Clemson defense to give the Mean Green alot of issues

I'm sure youve looked at these games, but havent played them or posted them yet. Just curious what you think of Neb and Florida laying big chalk? I dont see how either opponent gets more than 1 score....56-7 looks about right for both games imo

it is honestly hard to make a case for any of teams playing the big boys with the exception of Utah St (who was good to me last year), Nebraska should be running all day and Florida isn't scared to run it up either, I didn't get either of those games early so I haven't done anything at this point and both lines continue to rise, not sure I'll play either but I would lean to both home teams if looking at those games, a 3 team 10 point teaser with Florida, Texas & Nebraska sounds solid though (food for thought)

I like Northwestern too I like the way they finished the bowl season going toe to toe with Auburn.  Vanderbilt should not make anyone shake in there boots.

Let me say this .......Signs dont point to Vandy   But signs don't point to Northwestern either.

Northwestern has a new QB starting his first game...on the road.

Northwestern DL doesn't match up well with this bruising style of attack that Vandy will throw at them.

Northwestern has very few proven Play makers... and trust me, you need proven play makers when you go on the road and are making your first start as a unit.

Basically, Northwestern has some returning players...... But none other than Drake Dunsmore that you can really hang your hat on and say this guy will take over and score when we need it.
