Kelly is a little like Urban Meyer who has won right away every where he has coached.   A new coach can bring energy to a program, and if they win early the team can ride that (Erickson at ASU, EG).

But a lot of times, it takes a new coach 4 years to get a program going.

I see you're liking Fresno St. against Cincy....yes, it's an away game for the Bearcats....but Collaros doesn't scare you at all? Kid grew up an hour or so from my hometown and he hasn't missed a beat since HS....with Pike out of the picture, it's all Collaros this year...thoughts??

Utah St lost to 4 bowl teams by 8,18,18 and 31..A&M, BYU, Utah, Boise St (i.e. better team than OU on field LY), they're improved since 54-3 loss in 2007 and OU is not as good as they were..unless pretending Jones is a good as Bradford 86 TDs in 07-08....even though those are facts, it doesn't mean USU will stay close...probably 42-10 in 4th then depends on whether OU is interested in defending back door or not, USU had knack for playing the entire 60 min last year and hence 8-4 ATS

The Aggies have been very good at playing 4 Qtrs ... catching several teams sleeping with the Lead...

Right now , This Matchup would not demand a big wager on either side ... for me .... unless the Number looked way off  ...

 Aggies have been good ATS for 3 Years now 23-12...

On the other hand the Sooners could just pound them ,...Utah St gave up more than 4.7 YPC 7 Times last year...

i would not even consider taking Utah st, thats why i laughed when i saw the number(this game is a joke)...if the sooners want to cover, they will cover...i can see the lil' usu Qb getting knocked out in the first half...its not about USU being better than '07, its about USU knowing they dont belong on the same field as the sooners, and the sooners will let them know...Landry jones was better than i thought  last year, so he should be even better this year...funny, i sound like a sooner homer, im not even a fan of the team...

If you can't tell by the avatar, I am a Big fan of Landry Jones this year ... Love the value of the 40-1 to Win Heisman odds the Greek is offering ... (as low as 18-1 on other sites)

The Sooners NC odds have dropped from 15-1 ro 6-1 on the Greek

Oklahoma has a excellent chance at 12-0 ...

wouldn't go overboard with the sooners just YET....BUT....would expect them to come out strong out of the gate.....
      * that line on utah st game.....might not (initially) be very high.......as mentioned.....due to the aggies 18-7 ATS run......and sooners horrible offensive display last year.....
which was.....vs WINNING teams.....

#90 at 4.6/play........duke and baylor better
#103 on 3rd down....n texas and e mich better
#104 in rushing.....minny and ucla better

having no nuts to speak of.....sooners will seldom rise up to a tough challenge....but LOVE to punish the less fortunate......and will murder the aggies in this spot....hammer that early line.....save a little for OVER maybe......as aggies could score late

later if they beat texas......should get on nice roll with no real challenge in sight .....but mental toughness has to be questioned and a big surprise upset no shock at all....at any time
