A playoff is coming in time... best case scenario for this to happen is to see Boise make the title game and then lose by 30. When this occurs the networks will be pissed and so will advertisers when people turnoff after 1 quarter.

This is all about money... huge tv deals...conference bowl deals etc. Hope for the worst possible matchup and we will be 1 step closer to what we need... playoff system.

 

 sparty - Although I tend to  agree that the current system is laughable and doesn't serve the good of the sport,but I don't think that there is any team (even on their best day} that could ever hope to beat Boise St. by 30.

No understand that, just saying Lsu didnt kill oregon, but had their way with them. Oregon beats stanford i just dont see how bama is that much worse than 3 or 4th.(not a bama fan). we just see it every year. bama would beat anyone in top 5 besides Lsu IMO. not arguing just 2 cents

I wouldn't say that it is a complete fucking joke... At least they should be ranked 4 behind Stanford, and that is only because they are undefeated, and have played two ranked teams that are somewhat considerable... I will also say that the SEC blows overall this season, but there isn't a conference out there that can go head to head from top to bottom, bank on that mang...

I personally have watched 4 or 5.... I can say the same about Ok st, Boise, and Oregon... I agree with that this guy is saying.

Most people dont even know that TREE has won something like 12 out of there last 13 games by 21 points or more

guys i understand what you are saying...im not saying bama sucks by any means. im saying is most of the sec sucks just like most of the pac 10 or 12 whatever the fuck is sucks. but if stanford lost to usc how far would they fall?  and oregon when they lost to lsu pretty much shot themselves in the foot with turnovers the first game of the year and were detroyed in the standings. didnt they drop like 8+ spots?  so if they dropped that far why shouldnt bama?  im not a huge boise supporter (boom i know you are) but if this is the way they want the system to be then boise should be ahead of bama...they jumped ahead of oregon.. fair is fair.  again it has nothing to do with who alabama can beat...tehy can beat anybody no question. but if this is the system then make consistant across the board.

Bama and LSU have done the same thing, with the exception of maybe two games each, and they are playing with the big boys...
