Arizona State ~ Starting right guard Zach Schlink has been forced to retire due to yet another knee injury.
Utah ~ Starting DT Lei Talamaivao is out indefinitely with a knee injury.The junior opened both of the last 2 seasons as the starter only to have each season ended early courtesy of a leg injury.
Ohio State ~ I normally only post issues that would affect a teams two deep depth chart.But since there are so many Buckeye fans on this board I thought that someone might want to know that OSU FB Jermil Martin (84 yds,/1 td) has decided to transfer to a school that will give him a shot at playing TB.
USC ~ Junior CB T.J. Bryant who is battling freshman Torin Harris for a starting spot is out 3-4 weeks with a broken face as teamate FB Stanley Havili punched him during a conditioning workout and shattered Bryant's left cheekbone. 
A Lane Kiffin coached team is NEVER boring and the Trojans will continue to "Fight On!" Literally it seems.
Everybody is taking the "Colorado State always plays CU tight" angle, but this is going to be the worst product CSU has put on the field in many, many years. Thin at O-line, Freshman QB will start, depleted defense that was terrible last year.
If CU doesn't start Hawkins at QB, Buffs are the play.
If CSU starts Pete Thomas at QB, Buffs are an even bigger play due to a lack of accuracy in my opinion. (He hasn't looked good in either practice so far the last two days).
