BA - as usual we're probably on the same page, will be keeping an eye on the Tigers, after last year tank 2-9 ATS and everyone down on them this year could be some potential, would have been nice if Miss St hadn't changed coaches/offenses or Hughes would have made a good scout, like some of the pieces on defense even though 116th, thinking Porter may bring some boost in attitude and really like what we see of frosh QB Williams with h.s. tape and good spring, already respect of teammates...the sooner he plays the better

Dominique Allen(Starting Fullback) for LSU has been suspended indefinitely for breaking team rules. Kellen Theriot and incoming freshman Travis Dickson and Brandon Worle will compete for playing time. Dickson is more of a H-back type while Worle is a power back.

N.C. State ~ CB - Rashard Smith (Knee) will miss the entire 2010 season, joining fellow CB Jarvis Byrd (knee) who is now out until at least November after a rehab setback (may redshirt). This leaves N.C.State very vulnerable as Smith and Byrd were both projected to be in the 4 man rotation at CB.
This might help the 'Pack continue to be a good OVER value (10-2 LY) and watch out for their Sept.16 (thursday night) matchup against Cincinnati.

I'm hearing Bryce Brown will not be returning to Tennessee. He told Dooley today. Also Masoli will be transfering to Ole Miss. Only thing left is paperwork to make it official.

Former CU Buff Darrell Scott transfers to South Florida;
Two of Colorado's once promising skill players are leaving Boulder for home.
Darrell Scott, the nation's top running back prospect in 2008,
announced on his Facebook account that he will transfer to South
Florida.
Markques Simas, a gifted but troubled wide receiver who had his
scholarship revoked by Dan Hawkins on June 2, would like to transfer to
San Diego State.

yeah the dumbazz just left.....didn't tell Dooley....which MEANS.....he can't transfer ANYWHERE ...until released...by DOOLEY
Buckeye homers licking chops over S Henderson starting ....forget it....2nd best OL.....LG Joel Figueroa moved to RT....making it slightly more difficult for Heyward to take QB's head off.....so unless they play him at guard......shouldn't see much PT

The folks around Coral Gables are saying Miami QB Jacory Harris' surgically repaired throwing hand may still be an issue. As a Canes fan, I sure hope not, but rumors are his throwing motion has been adjusted from over-the-top to sidearm to allow him a better grip. This in itself is a reason to pay close attention when FAMU comes to get their beating Thursday the 2nd.

He was interviewed by Feldman on ESPN at Elite QB camp.. this answer kinda disturbed me.. thinking he really didn't learn that much in the off-season and hasn't really matured...
Was the team overconfident against Wisconsin, especially after scoring so quickly to start the bowl game?
Well, we didn't execute. We didn't do the things that we needed to do to
win. We waited until the last minute of the game to start cranking
everything up. We drove down the field easily when we got into our
two-minute offense.

Miami Defensive End Steven Wesley ruled academically ineligible, will not play this season. My take... Even though Wesley started at times last year, this will not be a huge loss for what is considered to be the deepest position on the team.
Also, WR/PR Thearon Collier will not play this year. WR is the second deepest position on the team. Between Travis Benjamin, Kendall Thompkins, and Davon Johnson, The Canes should be fine at slot receiver. Plenty of options at PR also.
In my opinion, unless the DEs or WRs suffer a rash of injuries, these two losses will not register. In fact, this may be a case of addition by subtraction as this will mean more snaps for younger players with far higher ceilings than Wesley or Collier.

I see you have already spotted the potential (ATS)....of the Tigers...looks like maybe about half their starters are transfers from 'big' schools....yeah almost zero info on Smith
great

Wesley .....dude has 17 starts (most in DL).....so unless he's a problem....doubt that's a good thing
Collier just has personal issues....and is supposed to be ready to go by fall camp start .....mom stroke / GF miscarriage !!/ hand injury
OLB Futch ....MAY be suspended 1st 2 games
