BA - as usual we're probably on the same page, will be keeping an eye on the Tigers, after last year tank 2-9 ATS and everyone down on them this year could be some potential, would have been nice if Miss St hadn't changed coaches/offenses or Hughes would have made a good scout, like some of the pieces on defense even though 116th, thinking Porter may bring some boost in attitude and really like what we see of frosh QB Williams with h.s. tape and good spring, already respect of teammates...the sooner he plays the better

Dominique Allen(Starting Fullback) for LSU has been suspended indefinitely for breaking team rules. Kellen Theriot and incoming freshman Travis Dickson and Brandon Worle will compete for playing time. Dickson is more of a H-back type while Worle is a power back.

N.C. State ~ CB - Rashard Smith (Knee)  will miss the entire 2010 season,joining fellow CB Jarvis Byrd (knee) who is now out until at least November after a rehab setback (may redshirt).This leaves N.C.State very vulnerable as Smith and Byrd were both projected to be in the 4 man rotation at CB.

This might help the 'Pack continue to be a good OVER value (10-2 LY) and watch out for their Sept.16 (thursday night) matchup against Cincinnati.

The folks around Coral Gables are saying Miami QB Jacory Harris' surgically repaired throwing hand may still be an issue.  As a Canes fan, I sure hope not, but rumors are his throwing motion has been adjusted from over-the-top to sidearm to allow him a better grip.  This in itself is a reason to pay close attention when FAMU comes to get their beating Thursday the 2nd.  

By the way, when I said hand issues, it's his thumb specifically.  

He was interviewed by Feldman on ESPN at Elite QB camp.. this answer kinda disturbed me.. thinking he really didn't learn that much in the off-season and hasn't really matured...

Well, we didn't execute. We didn't do the things that we needed to do to win. We waited until the last minute of the game to start cranking everything up. We drove down the field easily when we got into our two-minute offense.

SMU starting LG Josh Leribeus is academically ineligible for 2010 but will stay in school and seek to become eligible for 2011.

Miami Defensive End Steven Wesley ruled academically ineligible, will not play this season.  My take...  Even though Wesley started at times last year, this will not be a huge loss for what is considered to be the deepest position on the team.
