SEC is a fraud and now...

I was carrying on a discussion about LSU versus Oklahoma State, and why there is no playoff system.  I went on to offer my opinion on how a game between LSU and Okie State would turn out had they played.

In your response you mentioned how Alabama could have been in LSU's shoes had they beat them (pretty obvious), and that Alabama's kicking game is " fucking joke."  None of that had anything to do with what was being discusssed.  Alabama was never mentioned.

Your second response is also off the mark.  I haven't said a word about which team should or shouldn't have been selected to play LSU in the championship game.  I said one of the main reasons there in no playoff system is because the Big 12 is blocking it.  Therefore Oklahhoma State's only gripe is with the officials of their own conference.

How about we just followed the rules that all conferences agreed to follow???

The BCS was designed to match the best two teams in the national championship game.  It's just that simple.  It matters not is you won yor conference or not.  That has nothing to do with it.  And as you correctly point out, Alabama and LSU are far and away the best two teams in college football, and whoever is 3rd is not even close.

The real problem is that because the season didn't play out the way some people would have liked, they want to change the rules at the 11th hour to engender the outcome they desire.

Its definitely a debate for the ages that will go unsolved until there is a playoff system, but, we do not have it right now so the BCS will work with what it has!

I am not the biggest SEC fan and Alabama did lose their chance, but by great luck they did infact re-earn it with key Oregon, Okie State, Oklahoma and Stanford losses. There is nothing else to argue after that. If any one of those teams continued to roll and not shit the bed, they would be in...Okie state in particular.

In all honesty, Bama is the only team that stands a chance against LSU, with some special teams luck and some defensive points put up. This is why they are the second best team in the nation and are playing in the national championship. LSU will open at -3 or -4, and it is going to be another repaeat of a low scoring affair, but nontheless it will be a game of beauty in watching the best defensively skilled athletes in the nation put on a defensive show.

Again, if you don't count quality of wins, then Boise St., TCU, Utah, Tulane, Cincinnati would have arguments to play for the BCS championship in past year. 

You don't look at the quality of loss. 

And Arkansas is a fraud.  Their OOC schedule consisted of Missouri State, Troy, New Mex St and Tex A&M.  In the SEC they needed a 90-yd fumble return to beat Vandy.  They only had 1 quality SEC opponent, South Carolina, who was missing their star RB.

The SEC is a big circle jerk.  Why are SEC teams good? Because they beat SEC teams.

I'm not even saying Bama is a bad team. Heck, I think they're the "best" team. Yeah, better than LSU, who I think they'll kick the crap out of.  But that doesn't make them "deserving." 

As for Arkansas, they beat 3 top 15 teams this season, 2 of them in dominating fashion. Two of those wins were without both starting DEs, didn't matter because that is what good teams do. Arkansas is a good football team; not on the level of LSU and Ala but nobody else is either.

Georgia did not have Ala, LSU or Ark on their schedule and that is the only reason they ran the table in the SEC with the exception of S Carolina loss. S Carolina btw did not have Ala or LSU on their schedule but did have to play Arkansas resulting in a beatdown. No they did not have Lattimore but Arkansas did not have the leagues leading rusher from last year all season; so both teams were missing their starting tailbacks, sounds like a wash to me. Sorry composite, you are either uninformed or a dipshit and if that be the case nobody can help you.

Georgia is a fraud. They got manhandled by Boise. In Georgia. 

And that's nice that the SEC won the last 5 BCS games. It's a f**kin conference.  Who roots for a f**kin conference? 

Like I said, the SEC is horrible this year outside of LSU and Alabama.  Which is why Bama hasn't played anyone. 

All legit, transparent computers proved this.  Coaches and Harris poll guys are still living in the late 00's.  The SEC is down this year and that's why 1-loss Bama isn't deserving.
