This is the biggest joke line of the week. I mean, are you serious? Why on earth is Utah this big of a favorite here? Oh, you mean perception? And name recognition? Well, those are my two favorite things to play against.

Lets call a spade a spade - Utah has played nobody. I mean, nobody. The worst SOS out of any team in the top 50. Why would you schedule your first contest 8 weeks into the year? On the road, no less? This is a scheduling nightmare and one Utah is going to regret. This is a scheduling reprieve for Air Force. They welcome Utah. This is not last years Utah team. Wynn is a hell of an underachiever - he should be putting up Heisman #s against this type of competition.

Lookout....look who Utah has next week....uh-oh.

Sorry, I have to chime in here.  You're right, this is not last year's Utah team, they are much better than last year's team.  They were a very inexperienced team last year and it showed with three losses.  Traditionally these two teams play very tight, but I don't see it happening this year.  AF is riddled with key injuries including most notably Jared Tew-TB who was one of their leading rushers in that triple option attack.  Utah's stregnth is their run D, they continually rotate 2 sets of DL and both are very good...where Utah's so called weakness is, is in their back 7 because of losses to graduation.  But, we all know what AF is all about...run run run.  Jordan Wynn for Utah is a young talent who is having a great year, combine that with the one/two punch of Wide and Asiata running the ball and it's an explosive offense.  You throw Shaky Smithson in there on special teams returning kickoffs and punts and look out, he can score anytime he touches the ball.   This game comes at a terrible time for AF as they are coming off a beatdown from TCU (I know, I was at that game) and the defense was flat worn down the entire second half.  Utah will be rested, and will win this game with relative ease IMO...

Now, beating TCU next week is another story....

The only offense that is even close to ECUs that UCF has seen is NCST......I think ECU gets at least that and I'm banking they get 31+.....UCF averaging 31 ppg, and that includes facing Buffalo, S Dakota,UAB, Rice and Marshall.....UCF lost the only 2 games theyve had against teams with pulses (NCST and K St)...

DC is a great time......you'll have fun. I wouldn't want to live there, but you can have a damn good time for a few days. And Mandarin Oriental is a fine hotel chain, you'll enjoy yourself.

 

Kansas   I wouldn't want to lay 20 with Iowa State, but I'm not sure what number I would need to back Kansas. The hardest thing about backing Kansas is they look like a team that has packed it in for the year.......they aren't aggressive, they are undisciplined, they have a terrible defense and a worse offense. I understand why your are playing this game, but this Kansas team is getting steamrolled every week. They have won the only 2 games they will win this year. If you play it, I hope they stay within three scores for you.

Like a lot of the card, but have to agree with Trafalgar re. Utah/AFA. Add that AFA leading receiver (when they do throw the ball) is also out and you have the Falcons climbing up a big hill.  If the game is tight, it will be a low scoring affair, which means the under is also a strong play as well.  Like Nebraska, Texas, Kansas and Ole Miss. gl all.

Nah, strip clubs etc arent exactly my style. I like dive bars and nice restaurants.

RJ, no ones is really taling about it but I love the Under in the Pitt/Louisville game of 56.5.  Both teams want to pound the ball and play solid defense, add to that 10-20 mph winds in the forecast at Heinz Field will help hold the passing and kicking games in check.  I see Pitt winning 24-17, would be surprised if both teams hit 20.

Any thoughts?

Utah is a good team because they havent played anyone. Utah is not top 10 talent. Utah is not lay 7 on the road talent.

Utah is beat up on cupcakes talent.

I could care less when players are out. You sound like everyone 'warning' me about the Kentucky/SC game. Locke is going to be out. Yawn.

Everything that you know is factored into the line. You arent dropping any new information. Its all been accounted for.

Utah can rotate 3 defensive lines. They still havent faced a good rushing team - in comes AF. As long as Tim Jefferson is healthy, thats all that matters. I also dont have Utah making easy work of the AF blocking schemes.

I play spots and situations. Regardless of what you want to write, its not going to change my mind.

I play the same things over and over. Last night with NC State, just playing the spot. This weekend with 90% of my card, I am playing the worse team in the better spot.

I get it, Utah is 7-0, they are ATS monsters. They should cover. They are the team that is favored. You arent going to get any cookies here.

Love the card UCF, Air Force, Ole Miss and Duke stuck out to me immediately.  Random question pulling my hair out this week in my survivor, can't take KC which would be the easy pick.. but then again the easy pick is not the way to win these things. 9 left 6 G's to first any ideas I need an outside opinion.

Iowa -6.5-  took Wisconsin last week...gonna take Sparty here just because iowa doesn't blow anybody out.  Final tally will be less than 7 either way.

USC +7- this is the same USC team that lost to Washington at home.  I hate all of the Lane Kiffin love this week and the "Oregon hasn't played anybody" comments.  Who the heck has USC played???

Nebraska +7.5- did anybody watch the Nebraska/Texas game???

Kansas +20-

1-3 isn't too bad haha...gl (but just on the Kansas game)

You only played 12 games; why not the whole board

Not sure why you have ANY faith in UCLA; Zona just wipped Wash by 30 and are the 6th in the nation on points scored againt. The line is under 10. Where is UCLA supposed to score? First off Zona is playing with a backup who is actually playing just as good as Noles plus he can run; also Noles may be back which is even better; UCLA is playing with a HORRIBLE backup; and the just got one of their best tackles who their best runninb back usually runs behind and their number 1 wide receiver suspended which is the 2nd time its happened; This Zona team is FOR REAL especially their defense; Ricks team is reeling and Zona team is thinking about having their best season yet; This spells blowout in a big way whichever qb plays.

Also you may be right on the Utah game I think they are overrated but this team is not a bunch of pushovers. Scheduling is done years and years ahead; AF is always a hard team to play especially on the road. Either way TCU should handle them next week and play for a NC.

Loving the CF play you are right about ECU

Trying to pull the trigger on Texas but Gillbert is one of the worst qbs I have ever seen play at such a big program; he just flat out sucks; he is the SINGLE reason Texas is bad; I have watched Texas all year and have no idea unless they have nobody why they dont yank this guy plus Baylor comes in with the most plays of 10,20,30, and 40 yards; the line is only 7; I watched the ISU game and they could have own easily but Gillbert cannot complete passes; I just have to believe Texas defense will come to play and they can somehow pull it out. I am on Texas

Holding UM to its lowest point and yardage total of the year should count for something..  Not going to fault you for taking Iowa as the line says it all here.. just be careful.. this Iowa D has looked quite shaky so far and its best win is Penn State  . not to mention MSU has HUGE revenge from last year..

Looking at - Saints, San Diego and Arizona. I think I will be going on SD and Zona.

First, I havent missed a UCLA game yet this year. So I feel like I have a good read on this team.

Second, thats exactly why I am betting on UCLA. This is buying Arizona high. Arizona is not a good team to be buying high. 

When it all boils down, this is why I am on UT.

I just dont think UM is very good. But still, that game was in the great state of Michigan.

I dont hose down this Iowa defense as everyone else does. I have bet against Iowa this year, never on. I think they are terribly overrated. Which is the same thing I think about the MSU LBs.

I just think Iowa is the tougher team at this point. Who knows if that translates to a cover.
