After looking through 3 different forums, a majority of people are on Iowa. This is a shock to me because I was so sure that the public would be all over Georgia Tech. On top of this, the line continues to move towards G.T. The same thing happened in the Nebraska/Arizona game and I chose to ignore it. This time I will not.
I may actually switch side and place money on G Tech but that decision won't be made until an hour before kickoff.

I am not sure what forums you were reading, but I have never seen so much love for one team (GA Tech) in my life...actually, TCU last night was equally as bad. Everyone...game of the year, century, night, bowl season...was all on georgia tech.

Are you kidding me? The guy went 10-0 or something and is now at -23 units, and that's after buying points to stupid numbers like -8 and +5. He just CANCELLED what would have brought in 32.5 units of profit!
Either this is a major level by OP to get us all on tilt by showing new heights of stupidity or he's really that much of a knob.

There is no shame in losing or being a "bad capper". As I have admitted before, I suck at betting football and I can't handle all the fixing so I have drastically reduced my bet sizing. My record is probably worst than ILK's.
There is however shame is being dead money for Vegas to take. By that of course I mean making elementary -EV moves that's basically giving money away.
I almost feel sorry for ILK, as he has made almost every one of the very basic -EV mistakes a sports bettor can make.
They are:
- Buying points to non-key numbers that only protect you in terms of a push in case of an unlikely event.
- Hedging part of a parlay.
- Any form of Martingale or reverse Martingale. Streaks will happen, sooner or later. When running good, be happy and take the money instead of thinking you're a pro and running it all on the next day. And when running bad, chasing can only devastate you closer to ruin where recovery becomes un-attaintable.
- Tailing or fading someone for the sole purpose of doing so. No mathematical logic but no logic in doing so either.
