5 years ago when I started college I was a "wannabe bookie" that was taking action. So this jewish kid living in his parents' 4 million dollar house gives me a $50 deposit and God forbid HE COULD NOT MISS.

I was only a small time bookie but he was betting +200 underdogs in baseball for his entire balance on back-to-back-to-back night and ran hotter than Jesus H. Christ himself. His team would be a late night game, they would go on a 4-0 or 7-1 early lead and he would call me up right in the middle of the game to rub it in and tell me when he can cash out. I had his money ready.

He had about $1200. He bets it all on a football team that's favored -4.5. They lead by 7 and the other team ties it up with almost no time left. I was relieved. We were about to meet again as now he wanted to deposit $500 "into me", his bookie.

On my way to meeting him I get a call from the little bastard: "Minnesota won by 6".

He now has about $2400. The cashout day is Friday. I am still making arrangements from close ones and friends to have his money by then. But little do I know he starts betting $500-$800 a game.

By the time it's Wednesday night, he loses everything.

Biggest satisfaction ever. Now imagine bookies with unlimited funds.

I'd be whilling to bet anything that ilovekim will try to chase a $5K balance and lose even more money now.

I just like to make fun of idiots and posers.

I told him it was a bad idea to buy points, I explained it mathematically, not to insult him and instead of thanking me he completely ignores my advice, acts like he was the Nostradamus of football and touts 10 units and 20 unit plays while buying down a -8.5 line to -8.

And the morons on Covers follow him through like a bunch of dogs.

Thank God for me I stopped betting (or at least very occasinal) on fucking football. Just look at the schedules. This is a gambler's sport, nothing more.

In hockey your goal is to score as many goals as possible.

In football your goal is NOT to score as many points as possible, for some teams it's running as much clock as possible. It's just not consistent. So rigged.

I just want to say thank you to the guy that made the post on taking Cincinnati 2nd half. I doubled down on them second half and ended up losing juice. I didn't post it though so for the purpose of records, I won't include it.

Lol. Huge Ballz you are hilarious man. It is almost scary how you stalk my thread. You may be right that I blew all my profit but I am nowhere near broke. I still have over 130 units to work with and I will turn this cold streak around.

What I don't get is that you say aren't even making picks anymore.

I have a gmabling problem and I'm trying to stop. When I come to these forums and see all these degens put all they can afford on one game that they are so "sure" of and then get burned, I see myself in some of my worst self. So next time I feel the urge to put all I have on one game or even put a big chunk on a game, I will remind myself of fools like yourself and restrain. Of course when I see the game and how I would have lost, it only makes it easier for me not to gamble on the next "lock".
