IU’s defense created 1.86 Turnovers when threatened, OU created 1.50 per game. First game landed on 50 pts because, DM threw 2 picks and gave IU two short drives , doubt that happens again. Opponent pts per play, OU only gives up 0.237 , IU only 0.188 , both outstanding. Opponents 3rd down defense, OU 35.94 % , IU a whopping 29.17 %. Opponent yds per play, OU 4.2 , IU 4.5. Plays per game on average, OU ranks 85th ( 67.2 ) , IU ( 68.1 ) plays per game folks , these are both very extremely slow paced and methodical offenses that run the ball , which will keep the clock ticking. OU only gave up 3.0 yards per carry in the first game, IU gave up 2.3 . Neither of these teams are going to be able to run the score up. The only reason last nights game went over is because of the way OM plays on offense. Miami has the same scheme on offense that both of these teams tonight have.
