I don't think Stoops will take his foot off of the gas.  Remember that OU is looking to jump to the #2 spot off of this win and to do so they will have to run up the score.  Good or bad, that is the BCS for you.  They will need to leapfrog Texas, who has beaten them, and UofFL, who scored a lot of points today but played a shitty team and could easily be jumped.  This may be OU's only chance to get back into the title hunt.

Second half total bettors,  I think we know whats gonna happen.   OU not wanting to score a td there shows that only hope for over is Tech.   OU will not score much second half.  They will just run it.

Tech is over-hyped by the drive by media.  They usually  beat Texas, A&M, Okl at Jones stadium every year, respectively.  They have moved up the ranks way too fast.  I also have my doubts about Alabama being where they are right now.  My top 5 BEFORE tonite's game goes 1. Florida 2. Texas 3. Oklahoma 4. USC 5. Ohio State with 4 and 5 a virtual tie.  The drive by media wants to know what is wrong with the TT offense.  Leach goes for 2 4th and 5 at midfield in the first half.  That is a solid message to his defense.  If he had punted away and let the game settle down with defense the score would be 28-14 halftime.  He said offense was hyper.. isn't that how you want your guys to play.. Notice no analysis against tech at halftime because of the bias.

As I was typing... Vegas does not give away free money. OU does not need to score, they do not want to score and Vegas and the refs does not want the total to go Over. That last call confirms it.

Tech wants this game Over... long passes and even when Harrell is going down, he gets rid of it to stop the clock, even risking an INT.

Ou does need to score.  The BCS rankings are based on margin of victory.  OU can still go to the Championship game, but they need to pound tech to jump over UT
