Have you ever heard of good sportsmanship or what goes around comes around?

Trends seem to be over now. Teams that have struggled early are putting it together. The obvious is becoming the opposite. From now on, looks like it's gonna take serious capping. You're the best of em. Good luck on the upcoming week 

Boom, saw the TCU game.  The miscues at the end don't seem like they're on the take.  Wet conditons.  Ball goes through the holders hands on a fg... ball goes through the punters hands on one.. and  the other the long snapper left it short of the punter.  The week before, the accusation was Pachal was on the take.  He didn't do anything that would make me think so this time around.  Some of those wr's are plain bad.  Again, maybe due to the wet conditions but wr's had some drops.  The players with the st miscues are all probably non scholly guys.

Heading into the conference schedule, I don't think TCU has the firepower at the wr position to hang with a West Virginia.  They should be favored by 7.5 over an Iowa St at home. 

I feel the same way. Usually I do good but this year, I either hit .500, or a little under .500, then when I do good it's by a little margin. Half of the losses are mooses IMO also. Hopefully we have a good week this week BoomBoom. BOL!

boom the service academies have 1 win vs an fbs team I was 7-2 sunday 1 of the 2 losses was a big play on Navy. Navy hasn't been the same since Ricky Dobbs left. Air Force couldn't beat UNLV and Army yuck. I love the academies but they need to pick it up. Navy shutout by SJST? It was the 1st time under Niumatololo they were and underdog at home to a non-bcs team that wasn't a service academy

Boom...Lemme me start by saying this. I've been looking at Covers for the past 3 years and trying to an edge when studying games and I have always valued your posts and insight on games. I was with you on the majority of the games except VaTech (They screwed me against Pitt and not because they couldnt stop Graham but because Logan Thomas is just so inept). I was skeptical of Cal even took them +9 in a teaser and the just killed me.  But i'm not going to rip you Boom because i know how it is and at the end of the day this is college football, by far the hardest to predict correctly. I woke up this morning saying forget it im just going to stick to NFL but with many teams entering conference play I think now is the time bettors and turn it around! Just gotta be smart! Here's to the comeback trail

Linetamer- Sportsmanship? In a system where style points mean something. Fla St has a good chance to run the table. However, so do a few other really good teams(Bama or LSU, Oregon, Tex, WV, Kstate). So with a chance of teams in BETTER conferences also being undefeated, the better Florida St looks the better their chances with a lesser strength of schedule being in the ACC compared to SEC, Big 12 and Pac 12. So 20 points on the road is gonna look better to the BCS system

Ole Miss out played Alabama in the second half, Alabama best be glad Cooper the young freshmen came to play. Or they may have lost with tad of momentum on the Ole Miss side.

Ole Miss plays a fast pace offense, seems like they or trying to fast pace like Oregon but without the talent.

I seen Saban many years on the sideline and he was more tense in this game then i seen him even more then the NCG last year.

He sure didn't know he was going to pull the win off but did with a lot of luck this time...

Like he said no matter how much you practice for a fast pace offense's you really can't dulicate it like a real game.

Alabama's defense was wore down in the second half, and if this is any indication of they way Alabama's big boys handle the fast pace offense they best hope Oregon don't win out, of course thats only if Alabama does and meets them in the NCG.

If Ole Miss had a good QB this would be a sad day for me  the way Alabama played and at home may i add...

Everybody talks about the great OL yeaaaaaaaa. I'm not seeing the big holes like last year and the defense's or getting sacks on McCarron more and running him out the pocket, and one other thing.

Once Saban got that lead with about 8 minutes left everybody and their brother knew he was going to pound the ball to run the clock out, passing only on 3 down to keep the ball alive. Hell with a real good defense trying to run the clock out like that will catch up to you.

Hate to be the players in the next practice's because he will work their ass off, next year this team will be real good if McCarron stays another year, and Lacy moves on to a desk job somewhere.

The SEC is down this year.

Follower for a few years but never posted. Great picks over the past few years and  appreciate your insight!

Had to post to say the Hopkins touchdown catch was the worst call I have ever seen! I can't believe they called it an incompletion. One angle showed his foot was several inches in bounds. It was such a bad call (including replay officials), that I thought the game was fixed at that point.

Thankfully, Clemson still covered. But wow. Really, really bad call.
